This is not a bad place to taste some interesting dishes. The service e is very polite and helpful. However it is located in a very crowded area: the music of a nearby bar was pounding whereas when we moved to another table it felt as if we were dinning in a kindergarten (especially during weekends).

NIce place with interesting fire place. Service is very good, friendly and professional, food is tasty, music is at a very good level for talking and prices unbeatable. If there was no smoking I would say the place is excellent. Unfortunately smoke flies all over although they gave us table in the non-smoking area. We will try again hoping for less smoke. PLEASE find a solution for us-nonsmokers, it is a pity such a fantastic place.

After my negative first experience, I decided to visit this restaurant again in the hope that it had improved. How wrong I was, and I also pulled 3 friends into this terrible experience...The food was once again below average, absolutely nothing to remember. The restaurant was full and the service was VERY slow. I think it took more that 2 hours for us to get our main courses. What really annoyed me is that the owner (a Greek TV celebrity) came to our table a few times to ask if everything was OK, and when we complained, she just returned to her friends and continued talking to them. So the show of concern was just a show, as she never went inside to see of she could push our order along...We will NOT return, and it is a pity because this restaurant is close to our house and we would LOVE to have a goo meat restaurant close by...

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant in October while on vacation in the Athens area. We were staying in the suburb of Pikermi and this restaurant was less than a block from our location. The beef was excellent as was the staff, and they have an upscale looking decor as well as outdoor dining available. The prices were mid-range but even the American-themed dishes (i.e. hamburger and fries) were top-notch.
The food was average but the view of the harbor was excellent. The pasta was well prepared but not noteworthy. Service was good. The restaurant is very large and not divided into any separate areas giving it a cavernous feel with no ambiance. I was taken aback that smoking was permitted in violation of the law.
I don't think this place sees many tourists given the menu is in Greek. It is not on the main strip of restaurants, its maybe a 5 minute walk past them. Worth the stroll though if you want authentic & a LOT cheaper than the main strip. A chicken yiros (Giros to Americans?) is EUR1.90 as are the skewers and the plate version is EUR7.00. Not sure how much English is spoken by the owner but I'm sure "someone" will help. If you just want a yiros, look for "Yupo" on the menu (Top left as you open the menu). The only reason this didn't get an excellent rating is that the pork skewer was slightly over done....this could be that I ate it last!
