This out if the way, family run restaurant is always bustling. No one speaks anything other than Portuguese and that's just the way we like it. There are only a few dishes - but people come from miles to eat the bacalhau. Servings are huge and my friends loved their steak too.

We were recommended this restaurant by the owners of the villa we stayed at and it did not disappoint! The food was freshly prepared, delicious and well presented. Impeccable, friendly service and for what we had, good value for money. We enjoyed it so much, we went back a couple of nights later!

The place with view towards the river is excellent but at the hot day when we had been there with 34 degrees we expected to have a good airconditionairbut inside the restaurant it was worse. The food was tasty. When we received the bill it was written that we ate rice/ we didn't order rice and didn't ate from it. Tyey repair the bill.
