This restaurant was recommended in Lonely Planet and by locals. Betty herself recommended what we should eat, what was freshly cooked. LIke many of the restaurants in this area, the view was stunning, and we ran into other visitors we'd seen during our stay in Molyvos. We enjoyed our meal very much.

When we go to Anaxos, we rarely have lunch anywhere other than the Paradise.If we are there early in the season our favourite would be grilled sardines from the Bay of Kaloni & if it's late we would probably go for the mackerel or palamida, which is like a small tuna.Occasionally you may be lucky enough to find fresh (freshly caught, not freshly defrosted) kalamari. Small, sweet & delicious!Ask to go to the kitchen to see what fish is available & choose your lunch (or dinner) right there.They serve all the usual Greek fayre too of course but we rarely look further than the fish.Value for money, good, friendly service & a strong (free) WiFi signal. We shall return.

We ate at Taverna Alonia a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday evening when they had live Greek music on and loved it. A very traditional taverna with great food. We had garlic mushrooms to start and beef giouvetsi and stuffed tomatoes for mains which was really delicious. All the food coming out looked very good. We would definitely visit again next time we are in Molyvos.The Greek music is on twice a week on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

Had lunch today with friends. The menu is extensive with many unusual dishes. The location is great with wonderful views over Molyvos. The service is excellent without being obtrusive and the food was divine, especially the Briami. Rather more expensive than the run of the mill taverna, the food is worth the price but the wine is extortionate about a 600% mark up which is just not on.

Amazing food, all fresh ingredients, served at the right temperature, professional chef and friendly staff, I have been going there for food many times and was never disappointed. The view is fantastic, especially during sunset,the cocktails are also great. highly recommended!

We visited at sunset and the view was stunning. And above everything the food was delicious, best pork souvlaki I had. Very friendly service, generous portions and at a good price.

As good as the food is, it is the staff that make this place worth visiting time and time again. The food could not be faulted and the Saturday night meat on the spit is not to be missed. Each time we visited , we were welcomed like family, promptly seated and served. We would definitely return.
