It is located 77 km south of Chania, on the southwest coast of Crete and occupies a small peninsula 400m wide and 700m long. The town is set along 11 km of coastline bordering the Libyan Sea. It is the seat of the municipality of Kantanos–Selino and its population was 1,675 in the 2011 census.

In my opinion this is the best pizzeria in Palaiohora witch i visit every summer. Last week i ordred a Pizza with spinach pennes in oven. The dishes were to full in oil, it was changing the taste and it was difficult to feel the taste . We didnt like it and we didnt enjoy our food there. I rate mediocore and not bad because it s the first time it happens, i hope u dont change your quality for the profit. I love ur menu and i really want to keep visit your Pizzeria every summer.

We visited it several times during our holidays. If you wish to taste really traditional food you have to visit this restaurant. Go to the kitchen and choose one of the dishes of the day. Try mousaka and beef stifado. Otherwise have a mix grilled plate. Big portion, good meat and excellent cooking. Tasty mezedes and well cooked dishes. We especially liked squid oozed with maratha a Cretan herb but all we tried was good. The service and the decor were equally good and the staff helpful. A place to visit when in Paleochora.
