Popped in on a holiday night so restaurant was empty. We had great starters and my T-bone main was excellent. Cooked perfectly medium rare. We booked this hotel about 10 minutes before arrival but the check in was done so professional it felt like we booked weeks ago. The rooms are very clean and nice and the food is to die for!I had the luxury full body massage in the spa on sight and it was great!Very good and friendly waitering staff that take dietry requirements serious and gives you the feeling you are the only guest there!Highly recommend the place!

We had a good experience here with great friendly staff. The food was ok. Chicken wings were great, ribs very average. Kids nuggets ok, burgers ok. Our biggest disappointment was on our second experience when we ordered fries as a take away to have with our home cooked burgers. 4 portions of fries came with enough salt and BBQ sauce to feed the village. The Grill Room is the only good restaurant situated in the Palace hotel. Menu is very good and has an excellent wine menu. Service good, food good, wine expensive as expected in most restaurants. Portions are a bit large. I had 2 starters which was perfect. Booking is essential especially over weekends.
