I really had a good moment having dinner here. The dining place was well decorated, comfortable, with a fireplace on one side. This place is suitable for couples as well as family with young children as they provide kids menu. The steak quality was great, but I would recommend to try various side dishes. They were all taste awesomely delicious. The mac and cheese reminded me of my childhood macaroni dish at home. The truffle mushroom was amazing as well. The staffs were knowledgeable, work efficiently, and friendly. Reservation is strongly suggested, and I would totally recommend this place to others.

On a trip to Melbourne from Sydney we ordered two rump steaks and a broccolini to share - The rump steak was the cheapest thing on the menu ($25) yet was still high quality and delicious. It was one of the best rumps Iâve ever had and would defiantly be returning the next time I am in Melbourne. This is a great suburban bistro/bottle-shop. The restaurant space is lovely and the menu has a good hearty selection. The chefs do a very good job on the entrees and main. The Prosciutto/roasted fig/tomato/burrata is fantastic. The main was a dry-aged duck breast, but it came in a sort of pasty - which took my by surprise...but...it was truly delicious and I could have happily eaten another one! The wine list is extensive and seems to be priced at 'bottle-shop" prices which is a nice change. The only issue we found was with dessert. We went for the crepe suzette but this interpretation is not as good as the original/expected version. The crepes were cold and had dollops of flavoured cream inside them. It still tasted ok, just not what they were made out to be. Service was good. Would go again, but ask more questions as I was ordering.

Relaxed but special service and atmosphere. The food was faultless, even the cauliflower gratin- with smoky cheese and jalapenos. The scallop entree was perfectly cooked. Great steak, chips with fabulous sauces to follow. Wine was perfect. We expected the focus to be on the steak but everything else was as good.Hi Tiina,Thanks for your feedback and review. Enjoyed a superb dinner at this magnificent Melbourne steakhouse. The staff were attentive and professional. The decor added to the experience. I had the 350g ribeye which was cooked to perfection accompanied by the beans and broccoli and . My wife had the 200g eye fillet which was excellent as well.
