Reviews on Grill food in Mannheim, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Baden-Wurttemberg’s second-largest city after Stuttgart, Mannheim lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers and is rare among German cities for its layout, a grid pattern (or “quadrates”) similar to those found in North America. The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace. Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. The city’s iconic water tower and its beautiful Luisenpark are must-sees.

Central location but very very small place. Itâs like a to-go souvlaki in perfect Greek style. Good alternative to döner. Open till late night!

Had dinner on the lovely and very large terrace overlooking the Neckar river. Service was great and so was the food. Would very much recommend if you are in the vicinity.

Had one of their burgers while drinking at the Taproom across the road. The burger was very good - served medium - and their homemade whisky, honey and bacon topping is very tasty. The chips were a little on the greasy side but came with a very nice homemade chipotle mayo. Prices were reasonable for a proper burger. Would definitely eat there again.
