Find out what Grill restaurants to try in Kassel. Dating from at least the 10th century, today Kassel is most famous internationally as the home of Documenta, an every-five-years exhibition of modern and contemporary art. In the late 17th century Kassel received a large influx of Huguenot refugees from France. During the 1800s, it became the capital of the Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tale Route. In 1943, the city was virtually razed by British bombers, leaving few old sights, but the 18th-century Wilhelmshöhe Castle overlooking the city remains.

I ate at Pamukkale last night based on the reviews that I read here. It is easy to find, from the Friedrichs tram stop walk half a block up to Funffenster Strasse and go right. From the left side of the street go left on Konigstor Strasse and there it is! I sat outside and enjoyed a delicious meal with friendly efficient service. The price is right and the quality is too! I ate the lamb gulasch and it was plentiful and delicious. A nice meal before a nice walk up and down the nearby pedestrian zone.

We had a nice evening in this nice and easy restaurant. Choosing our own meat cut - all from the region - and weight and having it prepared as required. I had a dry aged steak, great quality. Not huge but interesting wine selection. Very kind service.

Sushi und grill all you can eat!
We tried out this new restaurant for lunch and we're not disappointed. All we could eat sushi, yaki tori, and various other Japanese dishes for 3 persons, fresh made to order, for â¬40. You order everything on a tablet and within minutes the dishes arrive freshly prepared. Service was friendly and prompt. The menu is large so take some time to look it over on the computer tablet before making choices. Can't say enough about the quality of the food. We will be back!

The food here was brilliant. It had been recommended to us a great place for burgers by a local. We sampled a lot and loved it all including the St Croix Bourdeaux.

We had dinner at Ristorante Il Teatro, near Konigsplatz, a small wine bar. We almost panicked when the menu didnât list entrees, but my husband noticed a blackboard outside that listed dorade. Our starters were insalata caprese, a large mound of buffalo mozzarella surrounded by half cherry tomatoes on a bed of arugula -- very good! The dorade was beautiful, but over-salted, we thought, but cooked properly.

Came here with work for a meal out when we were visiting our office in Kassel. The place was nice and friendly and the area where we ate was nicely done up. I was however sat right underneath a lamp, which started to train my eyes about half way though the meal. I ordered a white wine, which came in a small carafe and had schnitzel with an extra sauce so I could try the paprika and mushroom, and it was very tasty! Came with a salad and rice, and all of the other food looked great too. The burger which someone else ordered was huge, and another had a very nice looking salad! Very filling and tasty. There was also a call button to alert the waiter, which was good for ordering drinks, especially in a large group.
