Reviews on Grill food in Holbox Island, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Flamingos and pelicans and herons…oh my! Holbox Island is beloved by bird nerds for its population of exotic avian life. Perched near the Yucatan Peninsula, the island is also a hot spot for whale shark viewing, and kiteboarders love the shallow waters and wide beaches. The white sand streets are relatively unspoiled, as most tourists prefer to party it up in nearby Cancun. A splash in Yalahao Lagoon is about as loco as it gets.

Our restaurant and bar are in a singular palapa where we elaborate the healthiest and most delicious mexican-international dishes. Always respecting mother nature and using fresh local ingredients. The tables are located on the white-sand Caribbean beach
This is a great place - apparently if you're a disaffected 20-something with tattoos, dreadlocks, a hipster beard and mate straw. Drinks were crap; bartender attitude was crap; manager/co-owner/whatever was rude and surly. Perhaps we didn't fit their profile for desired clientele as they certainly did not make us feel welcome. That said, if you fit the above criteria, you might have a different experience. Location's pretty cool. We´re sorry to hear that situation, we apologize for the inconvenience, our restaurant bar is available for all type of visitors. We´re working on that situation to offer the best service and food. Thank you for your comments.

A modern beachfront tavern serving unique, fresh and delicious cocktails. Our kitchen dishes the best meat and seafood of the region prepared on our wood-fire grill. Pirate bar with an exquisite music taste and vibes.
We all stumbled across this bar one night before the sunset and what a gem! The owner was very friendly and the cocktails were WONDERFUL! I recommend this place to you all. We had to come back a few additional times to enjoy more of the their wonderful creations. Well done guys! I will definitely be back :)
A relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy a variety of Mexican breakfasts, sandwiches and specialties in the morning, such as our homemade bread and jam, as well as original healthy drinks and a variety of coffees, and in the evening we offer grilled
This is a covered, open-air restaurant. The service is very attentive and friendly. The menu has changed from a year ago and is not as interesting as it was. Nevertheless, the food is still very good. We had fish and lobster and enjoyed them both. Prices are on the higher side but not too high. They accept credit cards.
Be sure to visit Fresco Bar & Grill and enjoy the spotless beautiful white sands under a sunny sky. This barefoot beach bar and restaurant serve fresh seafood and grill options as well as a variety of craft cocktails, local and international beverages wit
Fresco bar and grill is the best place on holbox, the location is just beautiful, perfect place to watch the sunset. Good value for money and the cocktails Where so good, my favourite was mango chi chi. I spent 2 weeks here so tried everything on the menu and it was ALL amazing, BEST fish tacos on the island! The place wouldnât be the same without the beautiful MARVILA, who looked after us. Your service was magical and she made our stay so memorable, she was so kind and caring and always asking if there is anything else we needed. She worked so hard all day bringing us food and cocktails, thank you Marvila, I will miss our daily chats and will be returning next year. Also a BIG shout out to the lovely Mario and Hector who also made our stay memorable and Thank you also all for helping us learn some Spanish! Hopefully by next year we would have improved! Can not wait to return xxx

El mejor restaurante de carnes de la Isla. Verduras grilladas y sabrosas pastas. En un elegante ambiente, con dedicada atención.
We were here in January and enjoyed our dinner. We were looking forward to another diner when we arrived in June. I donât know what has happened since we last visited and this will be our last time. FoodWas just ok. It wasnât great like last time. We were the only table in the restaurant and right after our food was delivered to our table all the staff left the building. Never in my life have I seen that happen! They never asked if our food was good, didnât pour our wine. When they did come back, the waitress, sat in a chair at the grill /bar and chatted on her phone. The man who was so amazing 6 months ago, brought out our food and wine, was distant and unwelcoming. Im not sure what is going on at this place but if this continues I donât think they will be in operation in another six months. We were the only ones in the restaurant, is it so hard to give good service to one table??? Food was mediocre at best. Disappointing
