What a great spot this is! It bustles with life, the food is good, and the servers quick, pleasant and speaking a fair bit of English. We ate there twice. On the second occasion I wasn't feeling great, and the server made up a little plate of rice and salad which was just perfect. Delightful ambience and reasonable prices. It was hard to tear ourselves away.

We ate here twice during our week on Basse Terre. First of all, they open at 6pm, and after hiking all day, I'm hungry so we like to eat fairly early. The food is very good, the staff friendly and a very nice outdoor patio with a sea view. I had fish one time and mussels the other. My husband tried both the chicken and ribs. you can get potatoes or veggies (or both) as sides. We visited twice for dinner and really enjoyed our meal both times. Great inexpensive wine selection, unusual pizza toppings (try the banana, no kidding!), friendly staff. We bought a bottle to bring home only 8 Euro. Worth a stop!

Great location in the lagoon with a good variety of choices. The place was packed at 1:30 but we found a table in the shade by the bird feeder, be careful as the birds leave their mark.We really liked the Roquefort mussels and homemade bread. The mi - cuit marlin was overcooked and we mentioned it at the end and they kindly offered us coffee on the house. It's also customary to pour yourself a free digestif drink.
