The people are very nice and did their best to treat us with special attention. But my extremely expensive aged meat was one third gristle and slab of fat. The rest was ok but it was not what one expected. I took the larger one too as my husband insisted but it was really quite measly. The tart tatin was aweful. They used the wrong doe ( Mille feuile), perhaps store bought. For just two mains, a dessert and a bottle of wine over 210 chf. Pity. I keep trying but I will only go back under duress.

You must take a long mountain road to hit this great restaurant where meat is honored, in particular the Herens cow variety. You should drink the Petite red wine and drive back down with your eyes closed. You'll never forget this place and the friendly staff!
