Restaurant serving quality home cooked food all served in a relaxed and friendly environment. 180 plus seater restaurant serving everything from lite bites through to full main meals. Recently refurbished and in a lovely setting.
WE came upon this garden centre and cafe as the cafe we were going to go to was closed . what a lucky find. The plants looked good in the garden centre but we were just looking for a place to eat. We could not have found better. Fantastic choice from sandwiches to meals. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of tables even though a Bank holiday, which were cleared promptly. Our food was excellent and well served, will visit again when in the areaThank you for taking time to review our restaurant. We are pleased you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to being of service to you again in the future.

The Horse and Jockey is a privately owned business in the village of Congerstone, a short distance from the centre of Market Bosworth. Set in pretty countryside, alongside the Ashby canal network and Ivanhoe cycle path is very popular with tourists throug
It's a pity I do not live closer, otherwise I think I'd be in here most weeks. We visited as a group of friends for a birthday celebration, both the service and food was excellent with no grumbles or complaints from anyone. It was nice to see some different things on the menu that you don't normally see in a "pub".I went for the Moroccan spiced aranchini followed by the crab, prawn and Parmesan orzo, both full of flavour. Others in the group plumped for the lamb rump, or the huge fish and chips, salmon fillet with sweetcorn fritter etc.It was well worth the 45 minute drive to get here, and will visit again.

I recently went with my family for an early (5.30pm) dinner. As a result, there were only a few others in the restaurant. The food choice was good, the food itself also pretty good (especially the ribs). I thought the pricing was reasonable. The service initially was very good (our waitress was Amaia) but then she apparently had to do something else, so what I assumed was the manager took over. It then went downhill fast. Long waits, forgotten menu's, etc. So overall I would go again and recommend, but be prepared for the hit & miss service.Mphilm, we really appreciate your feedback and bringing this matter to our attention. We would love the opportunity to discuss this with you further. Please give us a call on 01509 80 80 10 at your earliest convenience
