this restaurant is an annexe of the queen hotel, its had a total refurb and has become one of the more popular restaurants in chester. the service was excellent and very professional. we only had the main course which we opted for the chateaubriand, the meat was carved at the table and cooked exactly as we had requested. the menu itself has plenty of options to suit all tastes. and they also gave us a plate of chocolates as it was my birthday.the price of it all was under £70 incl wine. which i could not complain about. i would recommend avisit if in chester. (the hotel is very good too). we will definitely return.

Since being diagnosed as Coeliac, I have looked carefully at every menu. This time, I just glimpsed and saw gluten free cake so asked at the counter.They were very accommodating there and offered a wide variety of GF, Veggie and Vegan options. Very pleasantly surprised and excellent value!

Food is lovely, service was a little slow when we visited however it was very busy. Itâs American diner themed with large portions. The salmon was very nice! we got complimentary popcorn and prices werenât too expensive. There is the option to sit outside the front of the restaurant overlooking the river which is lovely. Me and my fiancé visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and it was lovely. Very quiet for a Friday but was good as it was very quick service, loved the idea of the kitchen being open so you can see exactly what they are doing! Would 100% recommend.

Excellent value for money and James was an attentive and happy waiter. Would strongly recommend. The fish main cause was delightful and the Argentina Saviugnon blanc was fresh and light. Weâre now in the habit of booking when away on the basis of internet menu and trip advisor, rather than walking around the area.Glad we did as would have given this place a wide berth otherwise, given itâs located in a series of high rise flats.Walk in though to a bustling restaurant which is full of diners all enjoying themselves. Portions were generous, service friendly and efficient (with only two people front of house it needed to be).Food was really enjoyable and homely, price was reasonable.
