Whether with family, friends, colleagues or clients, The Mast & Rigging is a wonderful new pub sitting at the dock of the bay (well, estuary). There's every comfort you could possibly want - beer garden, children's play area, free parking, free Wifi and w
Been to this place quite a few times, but tonight was the first evening there. My wife and I had the 2 steaks with the bottle of wine, both medium rare with mushroom,1/2 a tomato fried onions chips n peas, which was really nice.The-steaks were cooked perfectly as the rest of the meal. Also it was a meal deal including the wine (£20.00) you canât beat that anywhere else. Thanks to Mast and Rigging.Thank you very much for your feedback, too often is Tripadvisor used exclusively for negtive feedback. We're always happy to have you and looking forward to seeing you again soon.Best Wishes,Abby JefferyAssistant General Manager

Following a meeting involving colleagues from Holland, Belgium and France we had booked a meal at Squires restaurant for approximately 20 people. The organiser had to sign a document guaranteeing full payment in the event of any no-shows, fair enough. We sat down at around 7:00 pm, I got my starter around one hour later, not the high quality fishcake described, rather something that looked de-frosted. This was followed by a shot glass of sorbet 20 mins later, then nothing for a further hour. Following complaints we were assured that the main courses were "on the pass" and would be out immediately, we then sat and watched while they served other tables that had arrived significantly after ours. I left at about 10:00 pm before the main course was served as I couldn't wait any longer. the next day I was told that all the main courses were of a very poor standard, and that most people left before the dessert. The duty manager did not come to see us at any point. We were eventually told that we would not have to pay for the main courses but we actually refused to pay anything. My simple advice is to avoid this hotel restaurant at all costs.

Eight is an intimate restaurant based in the centre of Rainham Kent. We can accommodate large parties in our upstairs restaurant and have a bar area for a pre or post dinner drinks.
We went along yesterday for the Prosecco brunch. Our glasses were never empty for long. The Prosecco was good too, you could add orange juice to make it in to a mimosa. We all enjoyed our meals. Great choice on the menu. They were able to cater for my friend who is Gluten Free. A great afternoon. Would definitely recommend

Went for meal with my wife a couple of weeks ago and looks like we got a poor lunchtime! Arrived just after midday and were the only couple in restaurant until another party arrived later. Friendly enough when we ordered our drinks and food - a beer and soft drink with Lasagne and Hunters Chicken. The barman said he will bring the drinks over when done. Some 15-20 minutes we spotted another bar person in the other bar and asked about the drinks - 'what would you like?' They had forgotten the order. The food came later and we started. Eating my hunters chicken I noticed that it did have any bacon and opened it up so my wife could verify it. Waited to see if the staff came to check all was OK. Still no one in view so decided to continue because who wants to dine at different times if it needed redoing. Probably the poorest Hunters Chicken I have had. My wife's Lasagne was also disappointing and left most of it. The owner/original bar collected the plates so I asked how they cook my meal with or without bacon and that the chicken was dry - he did not know and went and asked in the kitchen. Where we heard 'You forgot the bacon.... No I did not.... ' Well they certainly did. He returned and said he would adjust the bill. A reduction of £2. We can understand mistakes when a restaurant is very busy but when only a handful of diners!

Kent's most booked premier steak house situated in Rochester. Serving fresh lobsters and juicy steaks from home grown heritage meat on the British Isles to specially imported Black Angus from the United States and elite Wagyu shipped from Australia. Our r
They were able to fit us in at short notice early on a Saturday night. By the time we left, the place was packed and very lively. Extensive and varied menu and great wine list. They have a Josper charcoal oven. My wife had steak and lobster cooked perfectly. I had sea bream - delicious. The accompanying vegetables and garnishes were excellent. The manager must have noticed that I was feeling cold. Before I had a chance to mention it, he immediately adjusted the overhead air-conditioning. Service indeed! Will definitely return.thank you for your kind review. we are glad you enjoyed your visit, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Brettingtons

At The Quills we are proud of our exciting and varied menu. We start the day with our hugely popular breakfasts and brunches which are available daily until 12:00(Sundays until 14:00) We have a great range of seasonal salads, pasta, steaks, fish, sandwich
Lunch here was poor, salads were poorly presented, quality of ingredients also poor quality. Italian cannoll were stale and very unappetizing. Would not return again. Lots of really nice eateries in Rochester High Street, this is not one of them.

Selale Restaurant is located a stones throw away from the Medway River in Chatham Kent. A truly friendly atmoshere and food that will remind you of eating in the Med. Turkish, Greek, Spanish, and many other dishes are served here at our family run resaura
We've not always been lucky in getting a 'walk in table' at this family owned restaurant. The service is polite and respectful. This is not a fast food restaurant and food is cooked to order. What makes Selale restaurant outstanding is the quality of the food. It arrives piping hot, well presented and of a generous portion size. We were completely satisfied and our left overs were sensibly packaged for us to take home, which we appreciated. We have also ordered take-away from Selale and driven down to Chatham to collect it. Again , food was smartly packaged and not squished and ruined.Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but this golden nugget of a restaurant is a real treat to eat at. Well done guys, We will return.
