As a prior restaurant owner, and manager I really understand the complexities of running a successful restaurant. However, it takes actual management, who knows and cares. And the understanding that in a restaurant the only smells you want are from food! We were celebrating our anniversary and decided to go to a "nice" place. This was on October 22, 2019. I guess going with an hour till closing was cutting it too close to the shutting-down time, because they seemed way more interested in cleaning up, sweeping, moving chairs, and MOPPING THE FLOORS WITH BLEACH, than waiting on the customers. The food is, at best, average. I had a chili relleno that was embarrassing to be called that. Along with dried refried beans and old rice. My wife had a Charly Burrito, which was again, pretty average. We both had a margarita to start the meal, and those were fine. Service was spotty, as everyone was interested in pre-closing. To get a soda refill, I had to go find a server! But, the absolutely worst thing was the BLEACH!!! They said the kitchen employees must be scrubbing the floor, and somehow the door has opened. No one made an attempt to CLOSE THE DOOR!! It was SO strong, I wondered how the employees didn't pass out! I actually threw some money on the table and we left! Allergic to such strong bleach, I was chocking in the parking lot for several minutes before I could get in the car. And, remember, I have worked much of my life in restaurants and foodservice. This place was absolutely terrible that night!! We planned to have a nice dining experience, knowing we're paying more than most other Mexican places, but it turned into a CRAPPY experience. NO WAY can I recommend this place to anyone. I've been there before, but it was a while ago. This is not the same place as before. Stay away!

We ate here when they first opened a restaurant on premises.Figure a seafood supply business Is going to give you a great meal. Well, overpriced, under portioned and not done well at all.Several years later , nothing changed. Friends from out of town mentioned seafood. Since they have a gift certificate promotion, we thought we'd try it. I figured with the promotion the final cost would be in line. WRONG!We were going to buy 2 $100.00 gift cards and get 2 cards for $50. We'd go twice. They told us we couldn't use the cards on the same day we purchased them. Ok, disappointing but let's eat.1 person ordered a linguini with seafood dish He said it was great. 1 ordered grouper. Under portioned and way under cooked. He sent it back. 1 person ordered the ribeye. I didn't taste it but it was dry and tasteless according to the steak lover. Looked like a select cut ( the cheapest) and pre cut, frozen piece. No marbling, no flavor. The other 3 of us ordered a filet. 2 asked for medium, they were well done. I ordered the filet Oscar. I asked for a very light medium, but not quite medium rare. It was well done. The menu described it topped with lump crab meat and spinach. ( I love spinach!), and a Burre blanch sauce. I expected somewhat fresh crab meat. I mean, it is connected to a wholesale seafood market. It wasn't lump. More like a canned chopped deal. Warm but flavorless. No spinach and no Burre blanch sauce. No sauce at all. It was sitting on mashed potatoes which were very good. Still over priced and under served
