The food is very good, but the service was a little slow.We were able to use the Tastecard on a Friday which was good. The choice on the menu is fine and should suit most tastes.Good value for money particularly with the Tastecard. It gets busy which must be a good sign.Staff were friendly and cheerful even though it was a busy night.

Popped in with a couple of friends for a pint. Saw the food going out looked delicious so we all decided to have roast chicken. Massive half a chicken piping hot crispy roast potatoes. Lovely veg and Yorkshire pudding. Completely stuffed afterwards. Great value for money as were the drinks. Great place to socialise. At The King's Head Harvester in Frimley Green the food is fresh, full of flavour and just how you like it. Choose your tasty grill, sauce and side at our restaurant and we'll get cooking - while you head off to the famous Harvester salad bar to grab as mu
Went in here for early dinner and the place was rammed full with customers. We had a wait for our table but eventually got seated at a booth than was slightly dingy due to failed/missing overhead lighting. Waitress took quite a while to come for our order and only appeared after a chase up to another of the staff who was walking by. Order was taken but salad bowls took a while to come - maybe they don't trust customers these days as they used to keep bowls above the salad bar. Food, when it came was acceptable although the "half rack of ribs" was just 4 ribs which is at least 50% down on an actual half portion. Had to chase to be able to order desert. All in all 2 courses took almost 2.5 hours from entry to exit. Staff were rushed off their feet as far as I could tell, it seems that they are trying to run this place well below the staff levels needed to provide full service. Although seemingly painted outside in the last 12 months the inside is quite shabby and in need of a full makeover - some areas seemed to be not all that clean either if I am honest. I have given the place 3 out of 5 but I might be being too generous here especially given the local competition is so good that the Kings Head should really up their game if I am to come back any time soon or recommend this to others.Hi Gtssurrey, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience.
