It all started superbly. The bread was fresh, soft and warm and the hummus superb, the kofte light and bursting, the vine leaves delicate and sharp, but the grilled meat was a disappointment â chewy and a little overdone. The atmosphere's good though and, if you can decipher an largely impenetrable wine list, the booze is fine.

This place is lovely. Always quiet which is a shame as the food is great, the pool overlooking the Nile is relaxing and the bar clean and tidy.Chilled music while you sit in a comfy chair outside or the bar inside.There are no flies or bugs which makes sitting outside a pleasure.Staff are friendly, will happily change items on the menu as needed.I ordered the Charcoal Grilled Chicken, Tawook and Kofta. They were all perfectly cooked, served hot and they were happy to serve a range of lovely grilled veggies with it as opposed to rice or fries.Have eaten here twice now and would recommend it for the charcoal grilled food. I ordered the Fuego 40 pieces platter, the sushi tasted very good and the ingredient were of highly quality. The miso soup was great as well. For desert I ordered the banana tempura and it was not bad but I would recommend the chocolate fondu instead.Prices are very reasonable (around 300 per person). I definitely recommend Fuego if you are looking for good Sushi in Cairo.
