we visited this restaurants in november 2017. it is the poorest service which I have ever seen in the world. We waited for order nearly 40 minutes - with no reaction. Then I came to waiter and asked him to make order - then he made it. How poor is the owner of restaurant when he does not know whats happening there....I will never go there again although meals were OK... I do not recommend it to anybody.Dear Mr. Deni Z,Thank you so much for sharing your experience related to your recent stay with us. Place lools very nice and I had the best beef (Zwiebelrostbraten, 19â¬) I ever tasted, I recommend you try it. The Tafelspitz (15â¬) was interesting but the meat could be a bit softer. Free salad on the house. They don't have english menu and waiters speak little english, service is ok but slow at the end when we asked for the check. Overall, good place to get lunch

Two slightly aging Texans, cleverly disguised as Madame and Your Intrepid Correspondent, looked in at the BarBQ Restaurant and Bar on a recent chilly and damp Wednesday evening. We found genuinely delicious BBQ -- a little to my surprise, I'll admit -- a congenial atmosphere, and superb, friendly service, all at a bargain price. The restaurant is adjacent to the G&K Hotel, with which it shares a large parking lot, just off Triesterstrasse. When we entered it became clear that the ground floor was a bar and smoking area; the latter, together with the fact that there is no lift to get up to the non-smoking restaurant section (Madame has some mobility problems), almost put us off the place. But the stairway proved not to be difficult, and the dining area -- which overlooks the bar on a balcony of sorts -- was much quieter and not really smoky. What were nicely smoky, on the other hand, were the ribs -- really good and tender with a sauce that was flavorful and (blessedly) not overly-sweet. We chose a ribs-and-wings platter and, having noticed the Fred-Flintstone-sized portions, decided to share; that worked out perfectly. Several glasses of Gruner Veltliner, a salad easily big enough to share, and an apple strudel dessert rounded out the proceedings, and we loved it.The young woman who was our server was friendly, efficient, and enjoyed practicing her English (considerably advanced over my German) with us. The surrounding couples (it was Valentine's Day, as it happened) seemed equally happy with their experiences, and overall the evening surprised us in a number of positive ways. Lots of parking in front of the hotel; we paid cash so I don't know which varieties of plastic are or aren't accepted. Telephone reservations are accepted, which was a good thing on that evening. We enjoyed ourselves, and hope to return --
