Smokeshed cooked us a lovely full English breakfast. The service was very fast and efficient and the quality of the food excellent. We shall certainly be returning to Smokeshed soon probably for an evening meal or lunch. This was my first visit to Lussmanns, I had heard a number of good things about the restaurant and I was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly and were very informative when it cam t selecting the wines. The food was well presented and excellent, it also was good to the that fish was sustainably sourced. I will be returning.Thank you for your review. Nice cosy restaurant, serving English style food. I personally had fish and chips, nice portion, chips were perfect, fish was slightly overcooked - this ruined the batter but not the fish. Peas were plain. No greens on the plate. Price a little too high. Next day had a great English Breakfast. Again, the only thing lacking re some greens. They have a cooking station with a fine chef (lady). Please, helpful waiters and waitresses, and I though Siobhan was the pick. Will definitely go again.

Just had possibly the nicest Indian meal Iâve had in the UK for years.The service is always friendly and efficient. The guys have that on point.But the food tonight was fantastic. From the starters, the mains and sides, there was absolutely nothing you could criticise.Iâve taken the view that rather than ordering my curry off the menu, Iâll just specific what meat, whether I want a sauce or dry and how hot, and let the chef work his magic. Tonightâs I think was a chicken Handi, which was just awesome.Itâs always nice when youâre looking forward to a meal, and when you actually get it, it exceeds your expectations..Thanks for your lovely comments
