Heard that Hurricanes had the best ribs in the whole of Sydney and so we ordered a full rack. Ribs were quite tender and juicy but fries were pedestrian. Service was only so-so as we had to struggle to get the attention of the wait staff at times.Hi There,Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with your experience. Just to start Iâm a regular customer at Kellyâs or I was, I always take my friends here for special occasions as I always had a great experience , but I donât know what has happened to this place? Management changed? I took a friend for dinner for his birthday last Wednesday night 24th April. I kindly asked the hostess if we could get a table on the window as it was my friends bday,, the only answer was â Fully bookedâ , not even a courtesy option if we could get moved to another table later or a nice greeting for my friends birthday. Oh well...We ordered a couple of cocktails to start and the combo , the rump steak medium cooked and lamb ribs. It was just a big disappointment, the meat had a funny flavor, completely dry/chewy on the outside ,,, how can a medium steak be that dry and chewy? And the lamb ribs were so small, were those chicken ribs? Honestly, they were tiny ,, how can you sell those tiny ribs as lamb ribs? I was so embarrassed of taking my friend here for his birthday. I wanted to complain as soon as we received our meal, but the waiter was more interested in cleaning the bunch of empty tables. I couldnât get his attention. We couldnât order wine as nobody came and checked on us,,, I could have ordered a little cake for my friend, but not service around and it wasnât a busy night at all, plenty of empty tables around us. I couldnât even return the food as I was embarrassed enough with the food. Just completely disappointed and embarrassed about the food and service. What happened to you Kellyâs?

A huge rambling place with a lively atmosphere, decent enough food, prices and service. Standard fare - pasta, salads, fish and chips etc. We'd just walked the gorgeous coastal path from Bondi and the sculptures exhibition so lunchtime food - and beer! - most welcome! You could do a lot worse.
