In the historic and beautiful town of Battle (remember the Battle of Hastings, which was fought between Harold the Saxon king and William the Conqueror in 1066, in which William won and built the fabulous Battle Abbey!) stands 'Cut & Grill' within the bus
Visited here last night as we were told that they could cater for Gluten free. Well all i can say was it was amazing. We had one person in our party that needed Gluten Free Food. Nothing was too much trouble for them regarding her dietary needs, the Gluten Free options were amazing, almost all of their menu could be adapted & she said her meal was delicious. As for the rest of us, we were all equally happy with the food choices etc. The staff, big shout out to Sian, were lovely & welcoming. Only one word can describe our time at Cut & Grill last night, & thats WOW. Will definitely be returning. Prices are reasonable, food lovely & staff excellent. If you go here you wont be disappointed.

Tried here for the first time as it was recommended to us and what a recommendation it was as the food was great and the staff service was perfect. The pizza that we had was probably the best pizza we have had - just so tasty and one could taste all of the ingredients. The cheesy garlic bread was a good portion and really flavourful.Would definitely want to go back here and recommend it to anyone. The outside doesnât do it justice but when you go in it is so friendly and just perfect food!Enjoy

Here at The Senlac we provide a classic british pub with a high quality grill menu. Serving burgers, steaks, ribs in a very relaxed setting. We also have a large function room so if you should wish to have your party we can cater for most events
Phenomenally tasty food, inventive menu, good portion sizes, a kick ass music playlist, dogs welcome and superb friendly service. We had the baked Camembert with tasty bread , beetroot and halloumi salad and shortcrust pie with amazing soft tasty mash swede and cabbage. Boshed down with beer wine and a tasty spicy winter crumble. Better than 90% of the London and Brighton pubs Iâve been to. Reward yourself, do it. Itâs home cooked, Heartfelt and wholly worth it.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing place to dine or just a local pub for a great pint of real ale, then this is the place for you. We cater for everyone, locals, tourists, families and business people will all be welcomed with warmth and outstanding s
Really slow service, when I spoke to the manger about how it was taking ages to receive our starters, he argued over the minutes I said weâd be waiting, rather than apologising and sorting. Gave us a free plate of chips while we were waiting for our starters for 25 minutes. When they arrived some weâre missing, 40 minutes in total for all starters to arrive! Informed the manger Iâd write this review. After the long wait, the celery was rotten. See photos.Thank you for taking the time to review us. Iâm sorry you waited a little while longer than normal, but at peak times, 25 minutes is sometimes regrettably unavoidable. Hopefully the complimentary chips, Camembert, garlic bread and an extra 20% off on top wonât stop you dropping by in future. If you feel more should have been done, please private message a contact number and weâd be happy to discuss.ThanksMatt
