Azeitão (São Lourenço e São Simão) is a civil parish in the municipality of Setúbal, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes São Lourenço and São Simão. The population in 2011 was 18,877, in an area of 69.32 km². It is composed of a cluster of small "aldeias" or small villages, some of those are: Vila Fresca de Azeitão, Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, Brejos de Azeitão, Aldeia de Irmãos, Vendas de Azeitão. Cod roe, totally, mouth watering and the famous local fried cuttlefish. Very attentive waiter, and very knowledgeable. Beautiful sea views. We went back again the next day. Hope to visit Setubal again, this town is full of chill and friendly locals, this restaurant is located on the seafront. There's bar not far with an amazing balcony where you can spend the rest of the evening, shame the trip was short.

This small restaurant it's one of my favorites in this region.It's not obvious or easy to find if you donât have the adress, but donât loose the opportunity to visit.Either fish or meat, you will be surprised with the quality of the food.My favorites are the big "Dourada" or "Robalo" grilled for two people, served with boiled vegetables and potatoes. The Fresh Tuna steak it's from another world !! They cook it just perfectly so it remains juicy but not raw, with olive oil and vegetables.The meat dishes are not worse, the Hot Stone cooked beef it's delicious, the "Posta Mirandesa", the grilled pork rolls wrapped in lard are very good.I recommend the house sparkling green wine that is delicious. To finish in style, for desert try the Pineapple with Porto wine, youâll not regret it.

My husband and I had dinner at Villa. I am non-Celiac gluten intolerant and do get very sick if I eat gluten. There were no gluten reviews in the area and so we picked Vila a bit at random. We were happy to find a lovely young waitress who spoke perfect English, reviewed my Celiac travel cards, asked questions, and walked us through what I could and could not eat on the menu (no English menu was available). We settled on salads and risotto which were all very good. We were served lovely wines from local farm Quinta de Alcube. Overall value for price was very good. I cannot recommend enough from a food allergy perspective.There were several

The food at this restaurant is very good. We had the grilled fish which was excellent, octopus rice was really good. Octopus salad and clams also really good. Excellent wine list. Prices are a little higher than other local restaurants but value given food qualityAt the end of the meal our friend felt unwell (unrelated to the food) and the owners son was very helpful calling an ambulance the taxis. Highly recommend.
