I have now been to Macani a few times and have enjoyed their delicious freshly cooked food every visit. The kitchen is open which means you can see how clean it is. You can also order food and drinks from their cafeteria which is also popular. I especially recommend their chicken wrap, you get a choice of sauces, I had the lemon delicious. I can't wait to go again!

We went for a late lunch around sunset and it was really nice. We ordered beef and it came with potato, two salads, and the Nubian bread (sun bread and another one that I didnât catch the name but looks like crepe). Staff were friendly and the view was amazing. Maybe next time we spend a day or two there.

Our tour guide recommended sampling some local typical Dishes at the Grand Restaurant & Cafe, in Aswan - and she was right! We were guided through some nice Egyptian food choices. Authentic decor and with a pleasant & friendly staff. Good Egyptian food! Enjoy!
