We eat regularly at Nando's on a Friday evening - sometimes takeaway and sometimes sit down. The chicken is always cooked well, and the sides are great - especially the spicy rice. Unfortunately they do not offer corn on the cob in the South Africa as the UK Nando's do - how about it Nando"s> Good food, and healthy.

The service was very good and I was allocated a seat as soon as I placed my order. My drinks were brought just before my meal with clean glasses and cutlery. After 15 minutes my warm and delicious meal was delivered to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would be certain to return to Nandos Amanzimtoti whenever I am in the area.

If the food had not come highly recommended, I would not have bought food from this restaurant. The interior is not impressive at all and a view into the kitchen did not inspire confidence, but the curry lived up to it's reputation and was really good. We tried the beef curry, beef bunny and butter chicken. (For those readers not from South Africa, a bunny chow is hollowed-out 1/2 loaf of bread filled with whatever curry you choose - a South African-Indian favourite). I thought that the teaspoon-ful of salad was a bit mean, but the curry is certaily worth going back to. A must if you are in the area and best as a take-away.Dear Allan. Thank you for the 4 stars. Surprised we got that after your negative words about our interior. Anyway! The kitchen is a working one; functional and most customers that regularly support us are very happy that they are able to see into the kitchen. And please correction! A bunny chow is Not half loaf but a quarter loaf of bread thats hollowed out and filled with curry. And its not a South African Indian favourite. The bunny chow became a necessity if you took the time to read our sit in menu! ITS A SOUTH AFRICAN FAVOURITE! And seriously, for that great curry that comprises rump steak in your beef curry and fresh cream in your butter chicken, our prices are purely for the food and don't include decor which is why our venue is simple and uncluttered. The "teaspoonful " of " salad" comprised a mini ziplock of carrot salad and another of tomato and onion sambols, most places only give you one option and you BUY the other, so its not mean. Thank you again for the 4 stars. We are a restaurant not a take away. Take aways are a courtesy for those people who want to eat at home. Blessings always.
