Once again outstanding experience. Vasco's did not disappoint us. I had fish (a silver-side something fish) and after spending a few years in Mozambique with the great variety of fresh fish and great restaurants, I was blown away with how fresh, tasty, moist, beautifully cooked and presented on a bed of vegetables mixed with baby potatoes done in the oven.....................wow so good. My partner had duck (we had this before) and it was just as amazing. I don't often go out of my way to promote restaurants but Vasco's gets 10 out of 10.

I had gone of Nandos due to a dodgy breakfast I had at the Harrismith outlet on an early morning drive to Durban...after about a year I decided to give it a go again when in Brackenhurst....my faith has been restored in the brand after a light lunch at this branch...a most pleasant experience...

Not used to letting your hair down and relaxing? Go to Madeira Bar. Down to earth friendly no frills with a great vibe and noisy. The food is excellent. Very reasonably priced and authentic Portuguese dishes. Clientele seem to be just having a good time and the staff is there to help them. Waiters competent, polite and plain nice.

My third visit and each time the service is prompt and friendly. Milkshakes, burgers, jaffles, toasted sandwiches. Light and airy. Pleasant decor. Upon our visit to this outlet of Rocomamas, i can honestly say im confused on the standard...We orderd a small startes to share, our mains and a desert.Starter jalapeño bombs 2/5 â- it was crispy outside bit cold insideMainsRibs & Wings 5/5 ââ- excellent Flavor X Wings 5/5 âââ excellentDeserts Cheescake 4/5 ââââ very niceCookies & cream waffle 1/5 ââ- barely any cookies on it the waffle it self was almost burnt, so much chocolate sauce was put on you could not taste anything else.. Honestly the worst waffle ive ever had at any Rocomamas...Service 3/5 âââ Waiter sat us down gave menus and left, came back took the order and only after taking the order asked if we wanted something to drink... After that we only saw the waiter when she brought the food, and lastly the bill... My favourite "healthy" take away, but it far becoming too expensive now. I also find that sometimes the chicken is not properly cooked. Love the veggies that's now available on the menu.

Based on word of mouth, I just had to try Rocomamas. Visited during a quiet weekday to grab some lunch. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. The burger was tasty, although a bit overdone - I prefer a burger to be medium, but of course taste differs. I'd also prefer the burger mince to be a bit coarser and a bit more "loose", I found it a bit dry. The serving of chips was very generous and tasty - stick to "small", or otherwise share a "medium" between two people. Generally a good experience.Thanks for the review and the feedback! :)
