Genuinely great Greek home cooking â probably the best Iâve enjoyed since living in Athens. Authenticity guaranteed, service with a smile, and a happy atmosphere. I cannot rate this lovely restaurant highly enough. A big Bravo and Efharisto to Tony Pethakas and his team who worked so hard and cheerfully to make our evening truly outstanding. Flaming saganaki and tasty horiatiki salad are a Must. Do not be put off by lack of reservations; the line moves quickly if no table is readily available. If I lived in Toronto Iâd be here every night. A good reason to return on my next vacation.

As usual Mamakas does not disappoint! The food, drinks, service and ambience are just utterly delightful. The food was mouthwatering: from the homemade dips, piping hot pitas to refreshing watermelon salad to the incredible lamp chops for my husband and grilled octopus for me - can of recommend this place enough.
