Yes, itâs a lovely setting and food ok but nothing special and no effort whatsoever from staff. Perhaps we arrived shortly after a family argument? Probably better at lunchtime when setting improves ambience

Was recommended this restaurant and close to our villa, so decided to give it a try. We pre-booked as 8 in our group and previous nights had been very busy. On arriving, slow to be acknowledged and shown to table. Even slower to be offered menus and drinks! Wasn't that busy either only about half full. Had to ask several times to be served drinks and to take our order. We had plenty of time to study the menu. Good job really as when we gave our order lots of items were unavailable! Anyway, 3rd choice went for grilled calamari. When it arrived, was pretty cool, bordering on cold!! Should've complained, but already fed up with service and no one to complain to anyway. Took ages to get attention just to get the bill too. Certainly wouldn't recommend this place. A shame really as a fabulous spot on beach and heard good reports. Perhaps a bad night and low on staff?

Found this place by accident while walking through Rachoni village and it was by far the most pleasant experience we had during our holiday in Thassos. If you are looking for a small but nice and quiet place, authentic recipes prepared with local tasty ingredients (many from the own garden) based on the season, smiley and warm people (family business), then this is definitely the place you are looking for. We had a wonderfull time here and we felt like having lunch in the family. Great place, great food, great people. Hope to see you again and thank you for everything!

Great bar on the beach next to our hotel. We went here every day to chilax!!!! The lads really looked after us, they were very polite and helpful. Thank you for helping to make our holiday fabulous fun x

Only ate once at Yiamas. Food was OK but nothing special. Staff were unfriendly without being rude and their focus seemed to be on other things rather than on the customers. Consequently we did not return. We ate in a number of restaurants and tavernas during or 2 weeks in Skala Rachoniou but this was bottom of our preference list

Food was well cooked. No problem on this. Although crowdy, since it is considered one of the best of the island and recommended by many, food arrived fast and it was delicious with good materials.BUTpeople serving should be more careful as far as cleaning is concerned. I mean their hygiene and the fact that at 6 o clock in the afternoon the floor of the restaurant was so dirty, but noone felt like cleaning it.It is nice to have ouzo and watch the sunset for the balkony. Nothing more and nothing less.

This very popular family run taverna overlooks the beach. We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Our starters of grilled aubergene and tzatiki were very tasty. Our main courses of chicken souvlaki and mousaka were also very good. Dessert was traditional greek pastries.

We returned this year to Skala Rachoniou and although we were half board this restaurant was top of our list to re-visit. (So good we went twice in one week). This time we remembered about the large portions and we shared our starter (the courgette balls - yummy), which I followed with the most delicious chicken schnitzel. The main course does come with chips and a touch of greenery but I discussed with the owner and decided to have a âhalf portionâ of Greek salad as a side. (Next time I will order a quarter portion of salad as I was unable to finish it. This restaurant is well worth a visit and has a really good menu with great prices.

Our Favourite Taverna in Kinira, our Child's Love the Pizza, me and my Wife like the Seafood mix. The View is Amazing. Good Service and the prices are Good. We will come back in Next holidays.
