Behind the grand exterior (former bank branch?) this is really quite an ordinary Greek restaurant, but Schwerin has fallen on hard times since reunification and the choice isn't great. Having mainly 'eaten German' for over a week, we were very happy to go Greek for a change. The service was ordinary and the aubergine starter was too oily, but the prawns were good, the beer was good and the coffee was good. Turnover is low so they no longer offer the hot buffet.

Die Speisekarte wie man sie halt Griechen so kennt, nichts auÃergewöhnliches. Das muà früher mal eine andere Gaststätte gewesen sein, denn die Einrichtung war nicht typisch griechisch. Schön gelegen mitten im Zentrum von Schwerin, nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen. Man kann dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

I visited a lot of countries and as Greek I have to say that I love the Greek food and the Mediterranean food as well. Here in Schwerin I was surprised when I visited the restaurant: a big variety of Mediterranean food, very tasty and with the highest quality. The chef Sefik and his wife Seham are excellent example on how to keep a family restaurant. Personally Iâve tried all of their food: from stuffed eggplant to chicken and lamb ribs and all of them were very yummy! I definitely suggest to visit this family restaurant and to eat a good Mediterranean food. FYI, I am there to eat good food at least every week. If you are on Schwerin or you will visit the town, donât forget to have your lunch or dinner at this restaurant.

We live nearby so have been to Hermes on numerous occasions and were never disappointed.My favourite is the baked lamb chop with eggplant and feta - I usually can't stop myself from ordering that.Pricing is reasonable and staff are super friendly. It gets busy in the evenings and on weekends, so we make sure to book ahead.Go and enjoy some real Greek hospitality!

This was the worst greek restaurant experience I ever had. Ever. Poor fatty food, cheap décor, outdated ambiance and extremely slow service. The trouble is the locals did not seem to mind. All in all- if you are not a gourmet- this is your place!!

Diese zweite Chance wollten wir dem Restaurant geben. was soll man sagen, man hat sie genutzt. Diesmal waren Essen und der Service optimal, War mittags nicht so eine gute Zeit? Die Vorspeisenplatte ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wäre schade, wenn sie irgendwelchen SparmaÃnahmen zum Opfer fällt. Bitte nicht weniger und nicht teurer und mit dem freunlich gereichten exta Knobi, dann komme ich auch nach der Renovierung wieder
