It is known for its jewelry and watch-making industry, and as such has gained the nickname "Goldstadt" ("Golden City"). It marks the frontier between Baden and Württemberg, being located on Baden territory. From 1535 to 1565, it was the home to the Margraves of Baden-Pforzheim.

The waiters don't give a good service from the moment the customers arrive and they get away with it. Quality price is not worth it. I know that choices are limited in Pforzheim, but avoid Neo

The food was more or less fine, but the place is rotten and stinks. Smells like you are sitting in an old ash-tray. I wasn't very comfortable eating there especially since it was a mix of having my family there and a business partner at once. Definitely not a good experience for our 3 year old daughter with all the smoke...

Much better than the restaurant Sirtaki... food is better, service is friendlier, and the place does not stink with cigarettes smoke... The gyros were great in addition to some Greek antipasti...Price is good for the quality and portions...
