We had dinner here with friends based on so many of the good reviews we had seen. Our experience was way off. Artichokes that had a strange taste (and not very fresh), the giant beans were ok, and the pork undercooked and underseasoned. Strange atmosphere as well.

having eaten twice at the restaurant next door, the Black Pirate (don't do it!), we had dinner on our last night at this charming little harbour here at this family owned restaurant.Service was very friendly although it took a little while and two requests to get a half litre of white wine.My wife had a mixture of Fried tomato and courgette balls, both of which were delicious. I had a rather strange choice of tomato omelette. This was actually when it arrived it was a sort of stir fried egg dish with lots of tomato and garlic. It was unusual but delicious.Main courses were veal liver which arrived just a little over-cooked but tasty. I had lamb with tomatoes and small pasta which was unusual again but very tender. The house wine was well chilled and the little waitress was working her socks off. The lavatory was very clean.Dinner for two with house wine was only 37.50 â¬

Owners choose the finest products in raw material and escaping significantly from established restaurants, wrapped and completely alter the culinary tastings, while based on traditional recipes that come from the grandmothers of this country by putting hi
Mrs Maria, the owner , is the essence of "gentle power". We visited this place thinking it was a little cafe. But it is a serious "home made dishes" business. She begun on 2008 , and while been "busy like paradise" she realized she was missing the youth of her three daughters. Then she decided to close this business for three years till her girls could be able to stand by her , helping her in this business. Mrs Maria is a real trooper. She realizes the importance of family and at the same time she started honoring her special clients as well. Because everyone is special for her... My fried pasta reminded me my grandmother 's delicacies not to mention ALL the other splendid delicacies she offers. I salute her sincere feelings for family, life, and good friends as all of her clients become friends of hers!

This was our second visit in 3 weeks. The taverna Dining platform sits by a clear sea teeming with fish and offering amazing views of sea and mountains. On both visits the food was wholesome and delicious, the welcome genuine and the service efficient. We loved the marinated anchovies, grilled sardines and delicious meat dishes. Children were fascinated watching fish in the water below, snorkelling from an adjacent sea ladder and watching a turtle swimming a little way from us.

Sun, wind, stone and water are the elements that compose the scenery of the high aesthetic Cafe Restaurant & Bar, Teloneio. Housed in two-storey old buildings. We are located at Limeni of Mani, in a place that the absolute sovereignty of simplicity, of tr
Had some cocktails that were supposed to contain alcohol. Taste was good although rather sweet. After having finished them we were 99% sure that either no or a negligeable quantity of alcohol was used. Regarding the price (12 ⬠/ drink), this can well be called a tourist trap/rip-off. Avoid ordering alcohol here unless it is ouzo or beer from a bottle. By the way: nice setting.

The family fishtavern Kourmas located in one of the most beautiful destinations of Mani , in the traditional village of Limeni. The name is due to a coconut tree that was planted among the rocks , by a monk who lived in the monastery of Panagia Evretria o
And fish tavern, that has a lovely view over the sea. Dishes were tasteful, but I think it's inappropriate when they don't clean prawns properly. Also complementary fruit served in a small atomic plate - not for all of those sitting at the table- (a small piece of watermelon) was simply rediculous.

Greek traditional food
This restaurant has a greater variety of traditional foods than most of the restaurants in town. Many dishes incorporate traditional ingredients that are hard to find outside the Mani. Wonderful service. There is also a small shop downstairs that sells traditional goods and a few souvenirs.
