our second night in nelson, staying at the great cloudside hotel. had explored up to nakusp, our old stomping grounds in the early 1980's, fun to revisit. came along here and sat on their sidewalk /street deck. enjoyed our wine and had a fabulous meal after munching on warm olives. we choose the horiatiki and the shish tawook. both very good. had a helping of pita also. good service, fun spot, a perfect way to end our stay in the funky town of nelson which seems to have a plethora of good restaurants!

This restaurant never disappoints...the service is fabulous and the servings are very generous and the presentation is excellent. We have eaten there may times and have enjoyed every morsel. They have a bottomless coffee and I had a very generous carafe of white wine....well worth a visit...

Hoping to have some great Greek food we stopped by Leoâs in Nelsonâs Bogustown.After being seated promptly and ordering calamari as an appetizer and some mains we noticed most of the other tables were ordering the pizza which looked really good.Unfortunately the calamari was bland and tasteless, the typical frozen from a bag variety. Even the pepper steak was swimming in grease to the point where we had to tilt the plate to keep one side of it dry enough to eat.The beef souvlaki was tiny, dry and over seasoned. Overall if youâre looking for some pizza Iâd give it a shot. Other Mediterranean inspired dishes are definitely order at your own risk.
