Our visit to Estia was a bit of a family celebration. Our daughter actually had her reception here after her legal German marriage. She just had a baby a few days before :) It was beyond anything we expected. The interior is chic and somewhat industrial in a warm way. There is ample space between seating so you feel like you have privacy. The food and the presentation of the food is impeccable and so fresh and delicious. We don't mind paying for this kind of dining experience because you are also experiencing the pride this family has in their establishment. I would make a point of going again in a heartbeat when we are back in Dusseldorf.

We don't often eat out but the Olympia is always high on the agenda if we do. The service and atmosphere in this family run restaurant is top and the value for money good. Large helpings and succulent steaks, as one would expect from a good Greek restaurant.

The restaurant is easily accessible because it is close to a highway exit. Ample free parking is available. The interior hasn't been refurbished for quite a while. The first thing that strikes your eye is a collection of candle stands which are covered with wax residues. You even find lot of wax on the window sills. The tablecloth was clean and ironed. Nothing to complain about. The staff is friendly and offers an attentive and fast service. I didn't enjoy the entree at all, because the lamb platter I ordered was covered with a garlic sauce that was so intense that the taste of lamb was totally subdued. Furthermore I have to mention that the lamb cutlets were rather small and the lamb fillet could have been more tender. "Chacun à son goût"â¦. Maybe some people like the meal this way. The mixed salad they served as a starter was OK, especially the dressing was enjoyable.

I love Greek food and stopped here on impulse.Good things:Location in centre of villageClean and reasonable spaceNice ambianceInteresting red wineLovely tasting starters, tarama & yogurt Bad things:Only a small basket of bread to eat with the starters totally inadequate.Fish platter was very poor with dry octopus, overcooked prawns and oily fried potato slicesMain course barely warmVery slow service (15 mins to get menu)No credit card facilities but they also were reluctant to let me go to cash machineVery expensive - 57 Euro for two courses and two glasses of house wineNo hummus or anything similarI will definitely not come back!

I ordered the souvlaki. I donât know how they do it but my pork was juicy the whole way thru. Usually you cut into one piece and it becomes dry. Served with melt in your mouth potatoes and a lovely salad . The service was excellent and friendly. The waiters are all Greek which adds to the authenticity. Great service. Next to the zoo
