Reviews on Greek food in London, Ontario, Canada. You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

Our bistro offers a range of food experience from beet and goat cheese salad to salmon niciose. We utilize local as much as possible. We also have an extensive wine list exclusive to us in the village and not available at lcbo stores.
Our visit was on the first really nice day of spring and the patio was packed. This can be a bit of a problem if you choose to stay indoors because the servers spend a lot of time going out and in!There is very limited parking on the property and more on the street. We had reservations and were offered a table in the center of the small room. They apparently were saving a nice table on the side but no one occupied it the whole time we were there! We were seated in front of the non-operational fireplace. The floor is uneven, so the table was rocking! Tyler brought menus and adjusted a table leg so it was more stable. He was also very helpful with my beer selection- just told him the flavours I enjoy and his recommendation of Kronenburg was a perfect choice. It was cold and delicious! We went this route because I felt the wine prices were inflated. The food was excellent. The lightly dusted and fried calamari was a bit on the light side but the portion was generous and their version of tzatziki was yummy! Our entrees were fantastic and beautifully presented- 2 pork tenderloin rouladin stuffed with roasted red pepper, spinach and feta on mashed potatoes finished with roasted red pepper sauce and garnished with a sprig of thyme - kudos to the chef!!They were certainly in no hurry. We waited quite awhile for our bill and even longer to cash out! But we were in no rush and we were enjoying the party poppers at the next table. The food is so good and reasonable, I do not hesitate to recommend The Sweet Onion Bistro!

We went to Mythic Grill to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent - our server, Mya, made some recommendations for wine as well as food and she was spot on!. We shared the calamari , my husband raved about his lamb chops and my sea bass was perfectly prepared. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed our time in this very quaint intimate setting. We noticed they have a patio ...can't wait to enjoy summer evenings there!

Stopped in for a quick bite on Friday night. No reservation but we got a seat at the bar in a short time. Had calamari and a lamb chop starter. Both were amazing. Seriously the lamb chop was out of this world good! We then split a chicken souvlaki and again awesome. As we were at the bar we watched the tender make some pretty interesting looking drinks. They also do the shot of Ouzo and plate breaking ceremony for special occasions. The place had a very upbeat vibe to it. The owners are very "hand on" and it reflex's in your experience!Go. Just go.
