Greek traditional food.
Katsarola is a nice restaurant quite clean and the service is not bad. We did not like the food at all (Poor quality, very small portions) and did not enjoined it, but to say the truth, it was not expensive. Dear customer,we would like to thank you for your review even if it was disappointing that our services did not meet your standards, care to elaborate please what do you mean by the term cheap quality? There is a reason we are using a rotating menu,to ensure the quality and variety preparing every day different dishes with fresh ingredients. Also please tell us what dishes you did not like so we can get better. As a new restaurant we would like to get better in time. Thanks in advance.

A journey to the past and the future... a place that combines the aroma of the traditional coffee, with the taste of wine and other drinks and the pleasure of good dishes. Our priority is to make you feel like you are at your home. The old and the modern
Nice concept. Nice location by the lakeBasic service - average mezeFelt as if someone had this great idea to open a âmezedopoleioâ by the lake, but the staff never felt and loved this idea. A pitty because it could have turned great if a little love was put into it

The name of that tavern 'kopsidia', is exactly what you can taste thete ! A avriety of excellent food, special meat plates, but very tasty sea food too. Not a great variety, remember, you are in a town 700m over sea in the mountains... Taste what the waiter will propose you and enjoy your dinner with live music from Vasso and Pnagiota !!!

We went for a couple's vacation in Kastoria, both me and my girlfriend are "good" eaters and stay clear from tourist traps. This restaurant offered great quality, traditional Northern Greek food (beans, meat and Greek pasta are to die for) the staff is great despite some other reviews i read, do note that these people have to serve multiple tables at once and you're not royalty! Prices are descent although not as cheap as you'd expect. Overall, i definitely recommend this place, and in my opinion the ONLY tavern worth eating within Kastoria.

We ate here on two occasions and could not praise this family run restaurant highly enough. The food was delicious on each occasion, ample servings, service both quick and friendly. The son Chris, spoke good English, which helped in our selection choice. His father was the chef and came out to bid us farewell after our meals on both evenings.Easy to find, plenty of parking next to the restaurant. Not to be missed if you value quality food and service.

Our business is located in the center of the town,in one of the most beautiful neighborhood.Inspired and tasty dishes...
Came across this place whilst walking the laneways of Kastoria. A contemporary take on Mediterranean cuisine keeping it interesting and different to what is typically found in the area. Try to get there on a Sunday night where the chef puts together a series of small taps dishes using seasonal and local produce. Great place for Foodies!

Came here few days ago for lunch... Lots of people at work recommended this place as smth different in Kastoria. Had a salad and two risottos. Not bad... but nothing special... didnât like the way the resto looks from the outside... the decoration wasnât bad , probably it will look better at night but it needs improvements for sure. Didnât like the plate they served the salad in. The mushroom risotto was ok. Nothing to kill for though. If I would even come back? Hmmm not anytime soon but maybe someday...

My girlfriend and I had dinner here recently. The meals (mostly traditional) were very tasty and the pricing for the portions offered was fair. The service was good and they brought us our receipt at the end of our dinner without us asking for it (many Greek restaurants don't do that!). Desert was complimentary and was delicious. The only negative aspect was that SMOKING was allowed inside, and despite the fact that we sat in the non-smoking area we could still smell it! I hope that due to the latest regulations in the city of Kastoria the managers have stopped allowing smoking inside. In general though a pleasant restaurant with very nice local dishes.

The Gramophone is a snack bar-Tavern in the Kastoria's city center. Provides coffee, alcohol, beer, wine and tsipouro with delicious appetizers. The traditional and regional cuisine is featured in the menu. The kitchen is open from 12 noon till 1 am at nig
We were four couples at this highly rated restaurant. However we found the place disappointing; everything had a strong lemon taste and in general nothing different than your usual Greek tavern except the wine that was excellent. Thereâs no special reason coming here.
