Reviews on Greek food in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Johannesburg is the place to go to mix big-city culture, shopping, dining and nightlife with outdoor adventures, up-close wildlife encounters and visits to historical sites. Explore caves and nature reserves, or visit a traditional village by day, then enjoy dinner at a hip cafe or five-star restaurant. And if you're a shopper, bring an extra, empty suitcase. With malls, open-air markets and places that blend the two, you'll find plenty of unique souvenirs.

I decided to go out for lunch at cresta mall, though when i left home didn't know which restaurant i was going to eat in so i called my friend and then he suggested we go to Plaka. when we got there the staff was very friendly and professional, and we were hosted by Thabo who was very friendly and extreme professional he suggested a few of small dishes that we enjoyed so much. we had a wonderful experience and very eager to go back there soon. Thank you Plaka and above all thank you Thabo for the wonderful exp[experience you gave us.Thank you Erica

First visit to this interesting restaurant with business colleagues. The menu is great, really impressive choice. We started off with Meze, a nice mixed selection of beef, chicken and seafood. My main was Yiro, ample portion but very bland. I requested techina to make it more exciting but overall I was not overly impressed with the quality. The rest of the group had no issues with their meal and all agreed well worth visiting again. The service was top notch. Ambiance really nice, music level and quality perfect.Good day,Thanks so much for the review, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the experience at Mezepoli and we hope to see you again soon. We apologise for the bland Yiro and hope you will give us a second chance in the future. Kind regards,Mezepoli

Kolonaki is a Meze kitchen. Heavily inspired by Greek and Mediterranean influences the restaurant celebrates a culinary experience that has a new and exciting approach to the rich and warm etiquette of the traditional Mediterranean styles of cuisine. Our
