A local friend drove us there, and we had one of the best dinners in Lakonia! The place is a quiet village, and the restaurant is next to the church. The serene environment, great food, cheap prices, polite service, and great wine was the ideal place for our last dinner in Lakonia. Congratulations to the owners.
A traditional greek family restaurant. Delicious dishes, amazing atmosphere and service at really good prices. Homemade dishes by Ms. Argyro with just one call. A great location for summer nights.
We went for dinner at the taverna named "to Limberdon" which is the old name of the village Platanos.Clean and nice garden, with view to the village on the hill. Most friendly and helpful Mrs Argyro, the owner .Tasty local dishes, traditional greek cuisine.Good ingredientsd and passion are not easy to hide :)Thank you for raising the level Mrs Argyro !

At last a taverna/restaurant with some else than the food the other restaurants of Gythio serve. Modern interior, nice atmosphere, friendly and good service and tasty food. All kind of appetizers, good portions (not too small, not too big) with a nice variation. A little bit hidden in Gythio, but worth the search for it!

We had a wonderful dinner at Palirria. We were warmly welcome by Diana, who was extremely pleasant and kind. We followed all her recommendations and they were all successful. We had fried feta cheese, feta pie with honey, wonderful moussaka and fresh red mullet fish which were also excellent.Palirria is an excellent restaurant and we warmly recommend it.

Enjoy traditional Greek cuisine at the restaurant in Glyfada beach Valtaki, Githeio. The view from the restaurant is unique. Enjoy the endless blue of the sea and the impressive wreck of the freighter Dimitrios. The menu includes all the traditional dishes
Great place for a dinner at sunset. Takes a bit of time to get here. Try the daily fresh fish, its amazing. But you pay for it quite some. Nevertheless, recommended.

We went back as it was so handy. Good English spoken on both nights by cheerful and helpful waiters. Tasty food and interesting menu although some fresh fish not available. Theyâre happy to grill rather than fry vegetables for you. Open very late also. At the end we were brought delicious Pam a cotta with a drizzle of honey. It was delicious. Red wine good too!

Traditional Greek cousine since 1987 with emphasis in seafood and local specialties from Mani. All dishes cooked with extra virgin olive oil and vegetables collected from local producers. The owners operate their business 12 months a year with hospitality

Are you in Gythion and looking for a restaurant to eat ? The restaurant "SAGA" is the appropriate place, as with its many years of experience is still offering its clients unique and tasty dishes , such as : spaghettis with shrimps, fish soup, fresh fishe
We chose here for dinner based on the mostly good TA reviews and the listing in our guidebook. The food is very good, served with a smile by the staff as is usually the case in Greece. The menu holds no surprises if you're familiar with the local cuisine, but fish is generally the best option in Gytheio. Definitely recommended.
