The name "Chattanooga" comes from the Creek Indian word for "rock coming to a point." This refers to Lookout Mountain, one of the city's major attractions. Here visitors can explore extraordinary rock formations, see a roaring enclosed waterfall and travel by train to the top of the mountain for truly awesome vistas. Back down on the ground, don't miss the world's largest freshwater aquarium, the Tennessee Aquarium. History enthusiasts will love the city's museums dedicated to Civil War, Native American and 20th-century history. More than anything, Chattanooga is a scenic city, full of natural wonders waiting to be explored by foot, car, bike or train.

If you are visiting Chattanooga and are looking for a super lunch I recommend Acropolis near Hamilton mall. It is Greek Italian with some American choices also. Every dish I have chosen over the years has been fabulous. I strongly recommend the Italian chicken. After lunch try a slice of strawberry cake. You will not be disappointed!

Why travel all the way to Greece when authentic Greek Food is here in the Scenic City of Chattanooga TN.... we made your food from scratch to your plate. We are Greek...We know Greek Food.,,we speak Greek :))) ooopaaa
My daughter, son-in-law, their children ages 7, 5, and 2, treated my wife and I with an exceptional meal and family get-together. The owner prepared a sumptuous three course meal, with farm fresh ingredients. The chicken and the gyro meat was delicious. My wife thought the gyro meat was the best she has eaten. The children gobbled up most of the food -- my granddaughter (5) isn't a fan of feta cheese. The chocolate cake dessert course was a hit, all around. My daughter and husband had eaten at this restaurant once before and were excited to have us experience it. We ate indoors because of the time of year, but the outdoor facilities look exciting. It is amazing that they could serve as many people as they can in the spring and summer. We were the only guests eating lunch, and that enabled us to develop a relationship with the owner, learning of his story from Greece.
