A favorite of our lunch group was the Chinese chicken salad with oriental plum dressing. It is not cheap. Ordered it under new name and the chicken was so skimpy, it was like lettuce on steroids w/o protein. Shame- better to raise process than blindside the customers with such.

I reviewed Olive on Main over 3 years ago and thought an update would be in order. It is still a great restaurant in all respects. Food is consistently good, the staff is always pleasant and quick. The staff has very little turnover which almost always means good management and good working conditions. They have a great selection of wines and liquors and a very good happy hour. Nadal the owner is there fairly often and always has a good word to say. I can see them as the number 1 restaurant in Laurel someday.

We have visited several times with friends, and have never been disappointed by the entrees -- the lamb dishes are wonderful (esp. the lamb shank), and the seafood is also very good. Like a lot of good dining values, this restaurant is located in a strip mall; it is not pretentious, but the atmosphere is very pleasant, the service professional, and the menu authentic and dependable. Beverage service is also quite good.
