Reviews on Greek food in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

Griechisches Restaurant mit Mezze
An excellent family run restaurant in the centre of Bonn. Fresh fish cooked as you would expect sitting beside the Ionian or Aegean. Nice touches with a small complimentary fasolada to start. Attentive service and good advice on the food to order. A very enjoyable experience.

We had dinner there and it was really nice, Ianni himself is tending to the guests, the food was very tasty. We had a mezze plateau and the octopus, which we highly recommend. On the background there was some nice greek music, all in all very good experience

It was not my first time there. Every time i was happy, the cook is good (perhaps not the high cook but good) and the portion are too big. If I go there with other three people we order for two and it is enough. But the waiter (friendly) can pack the rest if you want.
