At first, we thought the place was a bank. A massive, two-story glass and metal pyramid filled with live and artificial plants off the beaten path was certainly unexpected...sort of like that monstrosity adjacent the Louvres. But upon closer inspection, we discovered it was a Greek restaurant. Well, my husband is a big believer that when you are out of town, a Greek restaurant is often a safe bet. However, when we saw it was quite large and quite empty, we almost walked right back out the door. But a server greeted us instantly and it was then that we noticed that the tables were all reserved. Now that was a good sign. Because we were early enough, we were permitted to stay without a reservation and over the course of our meal, more and more diners crowded in. Service was genuinely friendly and immediate and I quite forgot that I was in a restaurant in Germany, especially with the Greek music playing softly in the background. The menu was extensive, but I always hone in on lamb in a Greek establishment, one of my favorites. Now it's always risky because most Greek restaurants we've visited belong to the

We visited Kreta on Monday evening. The restaurant was allmost empty. The menu is plentifull and we ended with mixed plate (restaurant signatory plate). The food was good, but the service (of everything) took ages.

Looking for a reasonably priced restaurant within easy walking distance of our hotel and fancying an alternative to German cuisine we discovered Korfu. This family-run business has been in existence since 1981 and is popular with both tourists and locals. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very happy to discuss the various dishes. The calamari was delicious but the real star of the show for us was the paklava.We were so impressed with our evening meal that we went back the following day and enjoyed a sharing platter for lunch.

We stopped in for a lunch special and had a surprisingly good meal with fish and plenty of vegetables. Decent service, very nice atmosphere, and good value. It would probably be a regular stop if I lived nearby.

Very cheap lunch menu, the dishes are derved with rice and salad. The service was quick and professional. Good solution if you are just drivningen through the town.Toilets very clean.
