We stopped here for a late dinner. The person who helped us was new and a little unsure of substitutions or the menu, but after a wrong order was delivered to our table, we all ended up with meals we enjoyed.

Insomnia Café is not swanky. No valet parking or wine lists. What it is, is GOOD. Freshly-brewed tea with mint. Marinated, tender pieces of chicken in the gyros, house-recipe sauces that are delicious, steak tips that put a steakhouse to shame and you can even order a cup of grilled mushooms to put on 'em, to make them even better. WOW. This is the real thing and it's definitely a find.

I've always liked pita pit because it's cheap and good, but since they changed management the veggies have been so fresh every time I've visited and the staff seem to have gotten more training. Plus, it's never crowded for some reason, so you rarely have to wait at all
