Dion

Haven't visited Nikolas' Dion restaurant since their move from Aalst-centre (Vrijheidsstraat) to their new location.Anyhow, at Dion's you probably will experience the finest Greek dishes you've tasted. Absolute top quality. And rely on owner Nikolas to assist you with the choice of a bottle of his many extraordinary Greek wines ! This restaurant is an absolute Delight !

Zorba

Belongs to the Zorba-chain (with resto in Leuven, Aalst, ...) serving excellent, tasty tradional Greek dishes in 'large' portions. delightful mezze and lamb. Very nice wines, very friendly waiters, cosy setting.Without a doubt, value for money. Parking in front of the resto.Occasionally live Greek music.

Naxos

we were advised to take dishes that were not on the menu and it was really good, but what was charged for it was a bit exaggerated. Most annoying was the owner who constantly came to our table to talk about himself. how good he is, much better than other restaurants, how rich he is, how cultural, how sexy his wife is because many clients try to seduce her, etc etc. this man cannot judge that there are also patrons who come to a restaurants to talk to their company and not with the owner. and even if you show him that you don't want to talk constantly to him, he doesn't understand and keep staying at your table. bottomline: if i know in advance on which days this man is not there I will certainly come back on one of those days.
