As we checked into our hotel too late, the hotel restaurant was already fully booked. So they advised us to go to "The Egger Lounge" for dinner (3 mins walk). It was a Sunday night, so we were told not to go too late (meaning before 18:30) otherwise we would not get dinner anymore. Seems most places in Jerzens close early on Sundays. After driving 12 hours, we just wanted to have a quick dinner and chose an Almburger with fries. The Burger was OK and the fries were good. The price was right too (11.50 euro for the burger).

Excellent restaurant with a excellent choice of wines. We escaped from the busy Mozart familiy hotel to have a tasty lunch instead of the always-the-same lunch food inside the hotel.Huge playground around the restaurant to let the kids go away after the finished their food.
The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere. The owner is the hunter, so you can have a unique experience to try wild goats/reindeers/etc. But you need to make the arrangement in advance*

If you are looking for a restaurant that has a hostile environment then this is the place for you. After finding a table and sitting down we thought that we would catch the waitress eye and order some food. Well she looked in our direction on 5 separate occasions each time we were ignored - well it might have been that she was busy. She returned to the till area where I approached and in my most polite manner asked if we could eat. She gave me a stout no and walked off. I thought that i would again try again just in case I came across wrong. This time however I got a wave away and a stout no. Well i thought that they may be closing so asked if there was anywhere that we could eat locally. This time no reply was needed because she walked off.On the plus side if you like to smoke while eating they certainly try to encourage you with their extra large ash trays. I cannot comment about the rooms or food.

The restaurant in the Gasthof Zum Weissen Lamm offers hearty, traditional regional fare in cosy surroundings. The restaurant has a warm and friendly ambience, and is an ideal place to relax on a cold, snowy night. The portions are very large and feature classic meat and carb dishes, like Wiener schnitzel, cheese spatzle and dumplings. The wait staff wear traditional costume and were very welcoming. For an authentic Austrian experience, I would recommend it.

Actually we knew the Trofana before, but were never much interested in high way restaurants. Anyway, we stopped and had, surprisingly, excellent food in the little restaurant in tyrolean style. Again surprisingly, the service was friendly and quick, which contributed to an all in all very pleasant lunch. So if to stop on the highway in Tyrol, this might be a good opportunity, if you are not disturbed by too much "Kitsch" and too many tourist busses.

The Frommes Alm is located at the bottom of the popular Frommes slope. This used to be a nice balance between location, good food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the nice atmosphere is no more. At least not all the time. They now frequently have long periods of loud hardrock of the worst kind. And on the terrace you have 2 different kinds of music played on top of each other. Too bad!

These spots need to be preserved for future generations. Located at the foot of the Ladis Castle, this restaurant had not seen any changes in decor or ambiance over last 50 odd years. Warm welcome, dated interior that every visitor accepts as being part of the deal and really nice food. Great white wine (Grüne Veltlinger!!).Prices are fair.
