Wir wollten nur eine Kleinigkeit essen und sind ins Rössle in den Biergarten gefahren.Bedienung war recht zügig da, Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen. Das Essen war gut und der Wurstsalat war mit Mixed Pickles verfeinert. Super Idee!Leider war die Bedienung nicht vom Fach. Während dem letzten Bissen wird der Teller schon weggezogen. Leider errinnere ich mich nicht mehr an den anderen Fauxpas. Vermutlich ist es sinninger hier ein Fleischgericht zu essen. Werden wir vielleicht nächstes Mal probieren und hoffen auf eine bessere Bedienung.

This restaurant is worth visiting. Has a nice menu and the staff is very observant for your needs. Food is absolutely excellent and you will guaranteed not leave hungry. It is smack in the middle of town close to a parking garage and should not be difficult to find. A treat.

The Cafe Museum is what I would call a quaint restaurant. It is located near the Basilica in Weingarten. My wife and I had dinner there and the first impression is that it is quite an interesting eatery. The menu is not very big but it has most things you need for a good dinner. The vegetarian offerings are slim. It has a nice atmosphere with the regular in Germany wooden tables. It is a place to relax after a full day of walking around. The service was a bit slow but still agreeable.

Staying at the BW, we found this on the www, with good reviews and within walking distance. We arrived without a booking - they were very busy, kindly found someone who spoke English the food was plentiful and inexpensive compared to our visit to Bade-Baden. It is also a nice town with working peeps and not just tourism so take time out to visit the Basilica

Situated outside of Ravensburg, not easy to be found with GPS, they have a limited menu but with very delicious meals of high quality and a focus on local food. The staff is very friendly and the maitre worked in the Waldhorn in Ravensburg before. Due to the weather I could not check the outside seating. Reservations are recommended.

Visited on a relatively quiet Wednesday evening and found the welcome very friendly and very GermanThis is one of the few remaining traditional restaurants of the region and the menu reflects this with well cooked and nicely presented food platesThey also brew their own beer which was very nice !Well worth a try

Located in the Weingarten area, just 20 min north of Karlsruhe, this excellent restaurant is located in a wonderful rural setting, nestled between neighboring farms - in fact I think it was once part of a farm which has diversified to create a truly exciting dining experience.I was introduced to the restaurant by a business colleague who lives locally and is very friendly with the owners so, as you might imagine, we enjoyed a very warm welcome.But a restaurant should be judged on its service and food quality, not just the friendliness of the staff - although this is of course extremely important too.Surprisingly for such a rural location, the restaurant had menus in English (and other languages too) so it is clear they are well organised and managed.The dishes were very well presented and extremely tasty, not to mention great value.It's always good to try local dishes but I've never heard of a sausage salad before and wasn't sure what to expect and when it arrived it was quite a surprise; I can only describe it as a cross between shredded sausage, and spaghetti and it looks a bit like a large portion of coleslaw (!) and is served cold but it was deliciousThe bratwurst side dish was probably a bit of 'sausage over-kill' but I have learned my lesson here.The weather was fine so we dined outside beneath large umbrellas surrounded with pots of basil which are reputed to discourage wasps - and it seemed to work as we didn't notice a single one.Inside the restaurant is equally impressive with a modern yet rustic feel and large black and white photographs adorning the walls showing of the history of the local area. Always a good sign, the place also had spotlessly clean toilets and the gents facilities provide a really quirky surprise (I wont spoil it) which never fails to raise a smile and stimulate interesting conversation.I will definitely return to this fabulous restaurant and have already planned to bring my wife next time I visit.The restaurant has free WiFi and the staff are happy to call for a taxi to get you back to your hotel.

We came to this restaurant before exploring museums of Ravensburg city. The restaurant seem local favorites as it packed during lunch time. We order from wine , leber spaetzle , duck with red sauerkraut, cheese spaetzle and vegetarian noodles with champignon sauce. The taste was ok not so special the cheese spaetzle is too thick and not enough cheese. But the beer and the wine is great as always in Germany

This restaurant is on the great spot. The service is excellent. We arrived late in night, it was about 10 pm and they did serve us dinner without question. We have choose outside sitting as was very plesent night but inside is great too.
