Located in the heart of Kössen, our restaurant has been serving delicious dishes and delicious snacks since 2003. After the motto small, but fine we at the Campino completely rely on the personal contact with our guests. Fresh and regional. We use only hi
Good with kids, nice and quite big playground outside. Suitable dishes for children. Nice place. Will visit again.

Bavarian food
Dropped in here for a meal last night while staying across the road at the Lambacher guesthouse. It was very busy (about 7:30pm on a Saturday night), but the waitress managed to find us one free table that just needed to be cleared. We weren't really hungry as we had eaten a massive lunch at Tegernsee Brausterbl, so we ordered drinks first, a dark beer (Dunkel) for me and a Pinot Grigio 0.25L for my wife. The Pinot turned out to be a rose! The menu was in German and I couldn't understand most of it, so the waitress brought us an English version and we ordered one meal to share (Shashlik with french fries). When the meal appeared, it was clear that this order was also mixed-up, in that we had a very full plate each! The food was very tasty, with the shashlik of meat and veg covered in a goulash-like sauce and the chips were the crispiest, tastiest ever with the gravy! Although full, I managed to eat most of mine and my wife finished hers off completely! The waitress was lovely, very helpful, and i think the kitchen screwed up our order, hence, only 3 stars, but the food is definitely worth 4 stars.P.S. I also am giving just 3 stars because the restaurant was way too warm, even when we stripped down to T-shirts. A poor lady on an adjacent table was fanning herself for much of the night!

Best service in Austria, rooms are a little dated, but everything works. The breakfast and dinner are just perfect. And the best place to book if you want to travel with your dog(s).

Our Hotel is a very stylish house, buildt in the 19 th century. we have about 14 rooms with bath, TV and telephone. The inhouse restaurant is Italien style with very good Italien dishes.
it is hard to envisage, but hotel zur post is a very popular place with the ones who knowand the locals for its outstanding genuine italian food and homemade dishes.the place looks bavarian and alpine, the inside is modest, but wholesome, the food isprepared by the italian chef and owner, the service is done by italian compatriots, the set lunch for euro 11.- is the best value for money anywhere!bruscetta, selction of antipasti, mixed pasta, a choice between meat and fish plus a nicedessert plus the obligatory drink on the house at the end of the meal:where can you find a meal with good and genuine ingredients, prepared in best italian traditionand served with gracie and charm for this price? nowhere else!we will be back!

We came here for lunch with our kid.The place was very empty. The main course - some Tyrolean Knödel - was very fine, but the dessert and the coffee were weak, the dessert tasted like standard cake from the supermarket.Servus vom Lucknerhof.Ich glaube Sie haben da an der Adresse und am Ort etwas verwechselt.Wir sind ein kleines Gasthaus und kein Hotel.Andre Poetsch

We came here twice during our stay in Rettenschöss. Excellent service, and great food. Typical for this area. Prices are also very reasonable.

We celebrated my birthday up there, hiked up, had a great dinner, slept there (amazing rooms with great view) and dashed down with a sleigh. The people up there were perfectly nice, helpful and funny :) we'll be back!

Whilst on holiday in Walchsee village the Ottenalm hut is one we always go to.It is possible to get to the hut by vehicle but it is on mountain roads, but really the only way to go is to walk there. From the village there are two paths that get to the hut, one is on what is classed as a red route and therefore more strenuous whilst the other makes use of the road and track. The track is wide but in parts steeper than others but once you get to the hut it is worth it with stunning views down the valley. There is a large outdoor dining area as well as an inside one. The staff are always friendly. The food is typical German rustic fare but is always well cooked and the beer or whatever you drink tastes all the better for the exercise in getting there. On my last visit I had the Wiener Schnitzel which was one of the best I have had and the apple pie was sensational. From here you can make your way back down to the village or continue to other huts on the paths linking them.
