Excellent, traditional restaurant with local specialities. I cannot visit this area without having Maultaschen, so I had them in a clear broth for starters, and it was really good.As main course I had another local speciality - on Wednesdays it's "rostbraten tag", which basically is different way to serve a piece of veal (much like in Wienerschnitzel - but not so thin). So I took a rostbraten "alpenstyle" (covered in späck, mushrooms and and cheese) which was an excellent piece of meat, roasted to a nice uniform pink and very tender - of cause spätzle as a side. The food is really good - clearly prepared from fresh raw materials and served piping hot from the kitchen. The service is attentive and helpful (kept me stocked on ice cold beer at the right times).I noticed that there is the hotel restaurant, a more modest "bierstube" as well as rooms for private functions in the behind. The following day the restaurant was occupied by a social event, so it seems to me that Hotel Restaurant Koch is a good place to go. I will recommend it.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Besonders preiswert und gut sind die Tagesessen. Das ehemalige Vereinsheim hat sich zum Restaurant gemausert.Vielen Dank und auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen

We had the daily menu (Tages menu) and a beer at lunchtime. Excellent value, good service, good food and drink.

This is a very basic self service place in shady surroundings adjacent to a nice park. The prices are reasonable but the food is just typical German bar food, nothing special. You go up to the outdoor counter to order, pay, and then carry your stuff to find a place to sit anywhere you want to. Many people smoke, because the indoor smoking prohibition for restaurants does not apply here.

This is the bistro to the Zum Hirschen hotel where we stay regularly. The menu comprises basic regional thoroughfare at good quality, and the wine list is stocked with interesting local growths. A highlight is the lovely atmosphere in all of the five different rooms which are part of a renovated medieval mansion.

This is a very fun, and different place to have dinner, in the Mercedes dealership. Food was excellent. Service very good. Great wine too! It was not busy the night I was there.

Three of us enjoyed superb, mainly local food. The service was very good and the staff made some excellent and informed recommendations regarding wine and food. From the outside the restaurant looks a little less welcoming than it might, but once inside the surroundings are clean, more modern than many German restaurants, light and airy with plenty of room between the tables to make the experience more personal and intimate if required.
