If you are love hiking - this is a wonderful place to start atour along the "Love Trail". Phnatastic view, good "alpine" food, friendly service. If you want, you can purcase fresh cheeses and butter there. If you come before 8 a.m. you can even watch how the cheese is made from the fresh milk.

The Pichl Hütte is a lovely place to visit, hike and relax. Our family has returned here time and again over several decades for all of the best reasons. The views and ambience are spectacular, the food is excellent and the hosts are warm and welcome. You can hike all the way from town or drive up a winding gravel road, but however you arrive, you can look forward to spending time in a quiet, peaceful place you'll not soon wish to be leaving.

If you want to sit in an Austrian grandmama's dining room, with an Austrian grandpapa preparing totally fresh local pasta (various kinds of spätzle, full of fresh eggs and nice flour, some added by spinach and fresh herbs, served with delicious meat or sweet täschchen filled with homemade plum and/or apricot marmalade, with a bit of hot butter from Alpine cows and a touch of cinammon) - this is the place exactly from you. Famous Mölltaler lamb meat and game is cooked according to many years old recipes - all soft, juicy and delicious. Combined with the homemade pasta it is a real experience that won't be forgotten. You can buy also homemade jams, compotes and liquors - all produced by the "grandmama" :).The place from the outside is not very attractive (might look better other time than mid of March, when the snow is gone and no flowers show yet). We will definitely come back.Reservations recommended for lunch and dinner but if you come late afternoon you will have no problem to grasp a place.

OPEN: 1.MAI - 28.SEPTEMBER Our hotel with panoramic views of a magical lake & mountain backdrop is located at 850 m above sea level in a quiet, central location with no through traffic in the midst of the health resort Seeboden, on the sunny shores of Lak
We were met here with smiles and a nice table with a view. The cafe is right on the lake with well positioned umbrellas to provide shade. We thought the food was a bit pricey but given the location as well as the good quality (and quantity!) of the food, it is forgivable. The only negative part was my husband being rather firmly told off for not having put his shirt back on immediately after returning from a dip in the lake - we felt the staff member could have let us know in a more friendly manner. Otherwise it was a nice lunch.

A fantastic experience, highly recommended. Great building with a fantastic view when you reach the top.The food is amazing and really lovely staff. I would recommend the platter with 3 different types of ribs. At â¬14 per platter, (3 half rack of very meaty, delicious ribs) you really can't go wrong. Loved the extra touches should as the metal bowl to put in the rib bones and the apron to wear whilst eating.

The food was very good, but the waiters were not a good English speakers , we ask for a English menu and they say they don't have one, they didn't know to tell us nothing about the food in English, so we had to translate with Google.....After all, although they saw that, came to the table and talk with us in german. Disappointed for a touristic city.

Gasthof Brückenwirt is a traditional Austrian Gasthof with several good sized rooms. We stayed two nights and slept very well, partly thanks to the soothing sound of the nearby river and comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and parking was no problem. It is also within easy walking distance to the city centre. The breakfast had all that we expected and some more. The dinners we had were very traditional and tasted home made.
