Fast self service restaurant on the Tiefenbach glacier. The offer is traditional for this type of restaurant, but it is fresky and tasty for the tired skiers.
Been here servel times and I like it a lot. The view here is very beautiful. The food is also pretty good. I like to sit at the terrace and enjoy the sun. I can recomend this place, for lunch and also just to relax.- Simon

I dislike skiing on a whiteout day, so we instead went for a beautiful alpine walk up to this atmospheric alpine restaurant in Lenzenalm. Take the bus to Solden from either Obergurgl or Hochgurgl, and make sure the driver knows to stop at the Lenzenalm stop. Cross the road and then walk up the switchback road, an easy 45 minutes through the forest to reach the restaurant. It is run by Nina and Marco Gstrein, local people, who are welcoming. Food is simple but very well cooked. They easily accommodated my daughter's gluten free diet (she is coeliac). The hut itself is very old, and wonderfully atmospheric, on a small ledge opposite Hochgurgl, with wonderful views. There are alpine walks back to Obergurgl (snowshoes needed) or ask to borrow toboggans for the return journey - great fun! This alpine walk made our holiday.

Guests of all ages feel at home at the Sonnblick. Located at the heart of the Oetztal Mountains, the Sonnblick ski hut welcomes hikers in summer and skiers in winter to take a break. This enormous sun terrace will catch your eye immediately! The views of
Nice location with amazing views, great terrace with lots of space. Kids playground to keep them busy while enjoying the authentic kitchen. Friendly staff. What more could one expect?!Can be reached after a walk (1,5h) from Sölden. But also after taking the Gigijoch cableway it can be reached in 20mins downhill.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. Inside it has traditional décor and very warm feel to it. Yes, it does gets a bit busy during lunch in high season, but service is always very attentive. I was always offered drink and staff did apologize about delays (if any). We ate lunch every day there during 10 days stay for skiing and always found something nice to choose on a menu. There is daily menu and some vegetarian options to choose from. Meal has good size portions and always was freshly cooked. Waiters are smiley and attentive which is unusual for Europe (recently started to notice how bad service actually can get in some of our countries). Highly recommend pasta dishes and local specialties. Fish soup was very tasty as well.

After having eaten at just about every place in Obergurgl, we wanted to try something different. Each time we would pass through Zwieselstein, we would wonder about the cute little town. So, asking around at our hotel and the nearby ski shop, they recommended this place. It was a good choice. Sat outside at a picnic table on a sunny day while the kids played. Friendly service and quality Austrian food. Glad we made the stop. Worth detouring on the way to/from Obergurgl, Solden or another spot in the valley.

Vaya restaurant served up one of the most flavourful steaks I have had in a long time. A rib-eye cooked to perfection, garnished in peppercorn and full of flavours. My son had the filet which was crisp on the outside and perfect medium-rare inside. The side-dishes were generous. I had the spicy potato wedges and could not eat them all.Service was attentive and friendly. All in all, enjoyed a great steak!

This is a popular place. It justifies that popularity with amazing Austrian food and service. Place is up the hill, accessible either by town shuttle train and a short walk, or by car. This was the best meals we had during our week in Austria. Compliments to the chef. Everything was outstanding. If you go with a group like our adjoining table, go with the platters that looked incredible.

Typische Restaurant für Ãsterreich, reichhaltige Karte, Wild, etc. grosses Weinkarte, preislich durchaus interessant, geschmacklich enttâuschend.
After our long hike, we had definitely worked up an appetite! And we stumbled across this place - it is right at the bottom of some of the runs and trails. The restaurant is huge and we were some of the only people there (not too much snow is Sölden yet!). Food came quickly and it was delicious! Tried the schnitzel, cordon bleu, and the lumberjack steak and we were all so excited about how yummy it was! It is a lot of food!! We did get an appetizer as well - the pan fried cheese and it was good but it was still a little cold on the inside. Overall, place was great and service was great too!!
