Fair prices and typical regional kitchen. Bohl-Vesperteller and Schweizer Wurstsalat are great classics but in menu there are also warm dishes and we tried a spectacular Schlachtplatte. Closed on Mondays and kitchen closing 20:30...

From Tuttlingen to Singen, we need around 20 minutes driving. That's great. We don't need to drive far until Sindelfingen. Our favourite table is sofa seat in the right side, where we can see kids playing outside easily through the window and glass door. Unfortunately, they closed the play ground during our visit. It was under construction. Happy to know there was another kids' corner. Later, we drove to the city centre and played a bit. They enjoyed it so much. I recommend this KFC to families with children (to stop by during their travel).

The pub-restaurant is in the historic building. It has in recent years been renovated but preserved the typical German Gasthaus atmospere.Mostly regional dishes were on the menu and they were done like a Wurttemberg housewife would.Special of the day : Lentil soup, then lentils with Spaetzle, Saitenwuerste ( the king ofWieners) and smoked bacon, drink : obviously a local draft, and a Torte as desert.Service friendly, we had a talk with owner and waiters. We came here to meet some friends in the region and were surprised when they suggested we catch up at a museum for dinner! The setting was very modern but at the same time very cosy, we could sneak some peeks at the artwork and cars but the museum itself was closed (it was near midnight when we asked). The food was excellent, service was great and there's a brilliant selection of wines and whiskies, we'll definitely be back if we're in the region again!

There are a few restaurants close by but this had a slightly nicer seated area. We sat outside and ordered beer and a selection of main courses. Services was friendly and patient, we couldn't decide...Everyone was happy and the bill was reasonable. It's close to the Holiday In where we were staying so really handy. A very pleasant evening.

Upon reserving a hotel in Singen I looked for a family friendly restaurant. I did not pay much attention to the details so we got there after our long day trip from Munich. We sat on the balcony with the lovely view of the whole area. We had a great waiter who was very patient. We had excellent dishes, fish from the Bodensee, steaks, schnitzel and a wonderful assortment of desserts. We sat there enjoying the food, scenery and good luck to find such a jewel in an unexpected place.Thank you very much Betina, we´re glad that you enjoyed to stay with us.We hope to meet you again as a guest in our house.Yours sincerely,Family Jäger

After 10 days in Europe, while visiting Singen we stumbled on this cafe and since the whole city was closed for a Catholic Holiday - the only thing we could do was eat. We picked a table outside and managed to get a menu in English and picked out a couple dishes - Pork Cordon Bleu w/ salad and A 3-meat dish with spatzle. Oh my gosh - they were both fabulous. We ate like we were starving - and having just been on an 8 day river cruise, we were not starving. Just hungry from good food. The service was very attentive too. For dessert I had an iced coffee - a beautiful site - and taste.....It was a perfect way to spend our free afternoon - enjoyed the afternoon sitting outside being served such wonderful food. Very reasonabe prices and although we sat outside - the inside was gorgeous. Very nice, immaculate restrooms too. We lucked out in this find. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Singen!!
