I visited the Brauhaus in Heringsdorf twice and both times I had a good experience. The food was good, the mood typical for a German Brauhaus, their own beer is also very tasty. The service was very good as well,no complaints there. Definitely recommended and good value for money. I'd visit the restaurant again.

Its fish and the Zander was excellent. Fresh. And Uwe's kitchen does know the preparation. Great skin. Everything else is deco, the beer, the potatoes, the sauces (be warned of Pommersche Sauce). Not important, as you want fish, come for fish, eat fish and remember it for fish. So go. Truely traditional fish place.

O'NE - Restaurant at Marc O´Polo StrandcasinO`, wich is the first Marc O´Polo Conceptstore worldwide.
Marc O'Polo beach(strand)casino in the center of Heringsdorf on peninsula Usedom is a great asset to this Baltic seaside resort. It is a beautiful eye-catcher and being a conceptstore this includes a trendy dress shop on the ground floor, 2 restaurants on the first floor of which OâROOM is rated with 1 star Michelin. On the first floor you can also find a wine shop with possibilities for wine tasting and a nice bar. The building has an open floor plan, which makes it appear as spacious. The entrance to the first floor is from the dress shop with a beautiful staircase. In front of the building is a nice and spacious terrace, where the Bungalo is located. This is a wagon type mobile unit from where food and drinks are sold. The terrace offers plenty of space to enjoy the park-like surroundings. The management has clearly opted for a relaxed and casual approach. This means, among other things, that staff do not wear company uniforms, but their own casual clothes. This can sometimes be confusing when you can not always recognize who is staff or guest. Some staff members wear an apron with, for example, O'NE, the name of one of the two restaurants. During my stay in Heringsdorf I had twice dinner at OâNE, had once dinner at the fine dining restaurant OâROOM and had drinks and snacks on the terrace at Bungalo. For OâNE and OâROOM I will write separate reviews. The lady with black hair who works in the Bungalo had an off-day or she does not like her work, because she came across as very customer-unfriendly. But, all in all, Marc O'Polo is of course a great asset to Heringsdorf, especially in the culinary field, where mediocrity seems to be the standard.

We visited Domkes Fischpavillon our second night in Heringsdorf, and we went back each evening after. It was fast, delicious, eye-catching, and with the German "seaside" sailor music and sound effects, the ambience was very pleasant. Domkes serves all manner of dishes combined with local and regional fish, so the menu is large and seems to change (it is written on a large blackboard). You order at the counter, pay cash (no cards accepted), and not long after, your food is ready. And boy is it tasty... and fresh. We enjoyed the ginger-pumpkin soup with a skewer of shrimp (included) as an appetizer, then had the Heilbutt and Butterfish one evening, and the Captain's Platter and the pasta with Lachs and cream sauce another. Our third night (we loved it there) we both had spaghetti and shrimp, with two different kinds of sauce. The atmosphere at Domkes is fun, with lobster and fish serving plates, nets and buoys throughout, and a wharf-type decor. A "souvenir" mercantile is inside the restaurant, with deli items, liquors, spices, etc. The architecture of the building itself is intriguing -- was it an old fish hall or market? The counter clerk we spoke to couldn't say. It's beautiful nonetheless -- a gorgeous ceiling! Shame we're not staying longer in Seebad Heringsdorf, or we could try out more fresh fish dishes, because we would probably return every night. Domkes is also in Ahlbeck and Bansin on "Schmusedom" Island. After having worked in the restaurant business for a lot of my life, it's easy for me to see that Domke really knows what he's doing! His concept and marketing are as good as the food.

It is difficult to judge a restaurant were the service is efficient, friendly and unobtrusive, the set-up of the restaurant is cosy with its wood panelled walls, but the food cannot catch up?The potato balls, perfekt rounded little bullets were scattered across my plate out of a plastic bag heated in water. I cannot remember the taste of the fish or the vegetable (the frozen variety). The quality of the food compares unfavorably with the prices.

The restaurant is very small, about 8 tables decked in checked tablecloths. The walls are covered with shelfs on which lots of bottles of wine are displayed. I very much liked the room. The service was impeccable, very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. I had a wonderful Wiener Schnitzel with a lovely Austrian wine. Great! Dessert was also memorable - cheese! For two people, both havin three courses an d wine, coffee or tea you`ll about 150 Euro, a lot, but definitely worth it!!Make sure you book a table in advance!

The Location is Fantastic. The sun sets over the lake and there is a garden from the terrace down to it. Many of the sea side hotels and restaurant face north east into the Baltic and do not catch the sunset as well as here. Good, large portions of local cuisine. Fish of course and salads. Good bier vom fass! A main course is sufficient. We turned up without a reservation on Saturday night and were lucky to be given a table reserved for a no-show.

During our holidays that we spent in Heringsdorf/Usedom in July 2013 and a second short stay in August 2013 we ate 4 times at Carl's Kneipe, including my birthday-dinner : ) It is simply the best. I'm severly addicted to fried eel, turbot (Steinbutt), codfish in mustard-sauce (Dorsch in Senfsauce)... We already enjoyed this restaurant several years ago. You have to try it. Amiable service. There is a little playground nearby, that you can overlook from the tables outside.Last order: 9 pm/ 21 Uhr! You have to make a reservation,

True to its name, the restaurant is small. Better make a reservation. Food was nice, tasty and fresh (my partner and i both had fish) however a little expensive in comparison and not extraordinary. The service was very fast and quick, but in my opinion lacked a smile. From my perspective, the place also lacks a little atmosphere, but we only sat outside, so maybe inside its all nice and lovely. Summarizing, you are not doing anything wrong if you go there for dinner.

Weil es fast überall nur Fisch gibt, gingen wir in die Kogge und haben erstklassige Steaks erhalten, guten Wein und eine sehr aufmerksame Kellnerin dazu.
